No mate, but allowing much freer movement of people, small gatherings, shop openings, some school kids returning, going to the beach and parks, will all have been included in those figures. As will many of the unlawful mass gatherings and demonstrations and street parties.

I don't know about you but I think it's really pleasing to see the figures reducing by such percentages at a time we are trying to open up the economy. A lot of people criticised these steps when they were announced, but it doesn't appear to have slown down the reduction in cases. In fact the reduction in the infection rates seem to have speeded up over the last couple of weeks if anything.

I agree that this last step is the most important one yet though, so let's hope it doesn't encourage another spike. On that note I'm just off with the missus down to the local pub for the first time since they opened. If I can't get a seat outside we'll come back.

I was pleasantly surprised by the numbers, which is mostly why I posted them.

Barring schools, pretty much everything you mentioned was either outside, or involved limited time spent together while keeping some sort of distance.

Indoors, even with mitigation, in pubs and restaurants could well be a different kettle of fish though, basically, no-one knows. At worst, it might cause cases to rise, at best, it'll slow down the reductions.

Footfall in pubs / restaurants which have opened, is down by roughly 50%, so there's a lot of people still being cautious, which is good to see.

Nothing to do with peoples health just more encouragement to get shopping.
That's all.

If he had any concern for people's health he'd have locked the country down early in March rather than the 23rd of March. He dragged his feet on it because he didn't want business impeded.

Over half of the 42,000 people officially killed by Covid19 in the UK would still be here now if that murdering scum had done the right thing.

The murderer looking to bring in a measure that continental Europe and even Scotland have had in place for some time.

Some shops are already enforcing that to be fair

Sadly you can’t vouch for people’s stupidity, on multiple times occasions today in work, we had customers trying on clothes on the shop floor including physically stripping off to try on stuff despite being told not to. Two girls even broke through a barrier to actually go into our fitting rooms, despite the facts that a) they are getting refurbed and b) there were massive signs as well as said barrier indicating that they were NOT to be used

You lucky git.

The welsh government have announced weeks ago that all care workers will receive a 500 pound bonus . The dispute at the moment I believe is that the treasury want to tax it and Drakeford is adamant that it won’t be taxed
I thought Wales taxes go straight to the Welsh goverment so cant see how and what this has to do with the UK treasury. Im not 100% sure though tbh

Our local pub had no tables free outside so we walked home, jumped in the car and drove to the next village.

It is a renowned foodie pub but it's kitchen isn't open yet so we had a couple of drinks then came home for some chicken ding
