Gonna be great now that the lightweights cant pretend to be hard by loudly telling me to stand 2 metres away from them. And we'll soon have that silly one way walking system in town widely ignored.
"I can't wait to annoy people by putting them unnecessarily at greater risk because they are worried about an infection that could kill them".

They can stay in the house then if they are that worried (like I've just been forced to for 3 months). Simple as that.
"If people don't like me driving recklessly, they should stay indoors".

You being forced to stay indoors doesn't give you the right to be a bellend to others. Everyone has been forced to undergo the same circumstances as you. Stop acting like you're special.

On a practical note though, I wonder why open air gyms are going to be okay but not indoor ones? In all the time I've been in gyms, keeping a distance is never an issue, but the re-use of equipment obviously would be, but that will be the same issue in open-air gyms I'd have thought. Heck, if concerns about contamination on surfaces was an issue, then mandatory cleaning of trolleys would be in place at supermarkets rather than merely voluntary.

i totally understand why the gyms are shut and i’m not moaning and crying for them to be open but some lads on here must be doing really well for themselves to live in houses where they’re got racks & bench , deadlift bars , Varying sized dumbbells , heavy bags , medicine balls , an array of kettlebells , cables and a full sized ring .

"The prime minister's official spokesman tried to explain the rationale behind the government's decisions for England today.

There isn't yet a date when gyms can reopen for instance, because of the number of surfaces that people touch and the "much greater risk of infection" as a result of lots of people breathing harder."

As if people wont be getting hot n heavy, shouting, touching, singing etc whatever when pubs are open again. A gym is no more dangerous than that, the difference is that Johnson and his fat mates go to pubs and not gyms.

Better ventilation. People's breath disperses into the open air and so risk of transmission is reduced.

Meanwhile amusement arcades can reopen on July 4th
