Jesus Snides, how many old posts of mine from a couple of years ago are you going to react to today, I couldn't even fit it all in one screenshot!! If that isn't a massive meltdown I don't know what is. lol

You're the one who called me into this thread by replying to my old post from January to take a dig.

Yes, let's bring this thread back to a serious adult discussion and save you from further embarrassment.

The Tories held this whole situation terribly. There is no doubt about that!
moderator buddies i am really trying. i understand the rules in here and want to comply but this bozos rather worrying meltdown is perturbing me. thank u.
What’s occurring chaps?

my left leaning buddy here was a little intense but seems to have calmed down now officer. i am trying to just get on with being a good member mostly. hope u r well buddy.

Come on Sniderman. What have you been doing since 4pm today? That has resulted in my notifications box being spammed.

I wish to keep on topic and be adult officer groucho. it is a concern what is happening in brazil with this darned disease right now. they have a right wing populist and as we have seen on here with some posters ( who shall remained unnamed ) that is a not a good mix between being bull headed ignorant and saving lives.

I disagree mate. I think a minister has to protect his advisors. The scientists got it wrong, only by a week or so but that was vital.

Hancock has repeatedly said they made the right decisions based on the information at the time. To say anything else is throwing the advisers to the wolves

I watched it live the other day. All he has to say is mistakes were made, but they were made based on the data at the time. The reason he didn't wasn't just down to the info coming from scientists, which, to start with was wrong, but when the data changed, the government dawdled. Overall, we probably lost a couple of weeks.

There's nothing wrong with admitting you got things wrong, it's human to do so, and other countries are happy to admit their mistakes ...

If they can't publicly admit their mistakes, then there's a risk that privately they actually believe their own spin, which means they wouldn't be learning lessons. If you don't learn your lessons in your job, or life, then the best you'll achieve is mediocrity. To be fair, mediocrity is a fairly accurate description for an awful lot of politicians in Westminster, and, for some of them, is probably the best they can aspire to.

We can all practice that mate, including yourself. I'm all up for it.

The H1N1 pandemic was overyhped. There's been plenty of bugs and flus overhyped by the media. And you're probably not old enough, judging by your posts, but there was a little thing called Y2K which was hugely overhyped.

Sure it was easy to dissmiss, but hindsight is a wonderful thing is it. No doubt you'll cling to it.
My medical records disagree. That wasn’t overhyped, I had it and nearly died, also having long lasting lung problems.

What you mean is, it didn’t affect you.
