4 months late, one would have thought the UK quarantine system would be world class...yet another government initiative that's too little, too late and punishes those that are law-abiding and conscientious whilst letting the selfish and uncaring run amok.

that one signed Linekers Legs u just received was from me tho. anyway coronavirus is a terrible thing and only jabronis would dismiss it at the beginning.
@RAFUH can u bring this bozo back on topic thank u.

Oh dear. I knew the clique was strong on here. It has put a smile on my face, though. I just got negged repped from Nelson Mandela! lol

Coronovirus is bad however that post you quoted from me was from January. The information we knew back then was very little. No one would have predicted what would happen including yourself.

there is this little technique called “ not pretending u know everything “ buddy which u should try sometime. many others in the first few pages were diligent enough to show concern whereas u dismissed. like trump i suppose. and if by “ clique “ u mean “ normal evertonians with evertonian values “ then u may finally be correct on something buddy.

Its certainly good news, but sadly all I can think is that they are lying.

Anyway, hopefully tomorrow continues this trend.

Total “excess deaths” show the death rate is falling quickly now. ONS and IFOActuaries analysis out on a Tuesday are very reliable. I expect these to show Covid deaths at a relatively low level and should continue to fall over the next 3 weeks. For as long as R is below 1 this should continue to fall.

We can all practice that mate, including yourself. I'm all up for it.

The H1N1 pandemic was overyhped. There's been plenty of bugs and flus overhyped by the media. And you're probably not old enough, judging by your posts, but there was a little thing called Y2K which was hugely overhyped.

Sure it was easy to dissmiss, but hindsight is a wonderful thing is it. No doubt you'll cling to it.

it makes me wonder about the Italian doctor who was shouting off about the virus mutating into a less dangerous version last week.

No one knows mate. Their opinion may be more informed than yours and mine, kin hope so anyrate, but until this plays out, all we can do is do what we are doing.

I don't know if I read this wrong from a Telegraph article that they randomly emailed me but this is a bit of a dark sentence:

Dear reader,

As we enter our twelfth week of lockdown, thoughts are turning towards how the restrictions can safely be lifted. In her most recent column, Janet Daley questions when ministers will ever judge the situation to be safe and argues powerfully that now is the time for those who are being protected by the lockdown to ask whether it is worth the cost that the rest of society is bearing.

Are we again working out how much 1 person's life is worth?
