The day after lockdown began there was a massive and sustained drop in movement, you can’t explain that away using “tourists”. Unless you’re trying to somehow imply that 80% of the movement in London on a normal day is driven by tourism, which is clearly not true.

You can also see the exact same results in Manchester and Birmingham.
Don't tell me what I'm saying you bellend. The graph contains tourists. The graph is flawed because it contains tourists. Stop posting it contantly

What a mature response.

I’ve explained to you already that “tourists” would never account for the drop we have seen in cities across the UK and Europe. We have seen the same level of drops in movement in Birmingham which is not a city known as a tourist hotspot.

I’ll keep posting it as it’s interesting and there’s zero you can do about it. If you don’t want to view my posts you can stick me on ignore, as you can imagine I’m not arsed what you think in the slightest. :)

There are articles being published now by Metro which are stating you cannot blame the protestors for a second wave of the virus because they are protesting for human rights.

As if the virus cares.

It’s mind boggling apologist behaviour.
Unreal, and here I am haven't seen my parents since mid March, my eldest lad wants to go and see them but I've been saying we can't and it breaks my heart, only to see idiots gather in their thousands for a protest. Stupidity.

The BBC and channel 4 are apparently the most trusted broadcasters in their coverage of this pandemic.

The chief executive of Channel 4 has however had to make an embarrassing apology regarding it's use of social media during the recent general election campaign, which she described as dreadful and inexcusable, the error went viral as it fed into Johnson's opponents portrayal of him as racist, often entirely based on, to use her own words, this 'dreadful and inexcusable' error from channel four.

It's reported.....

The head of Channel 4 has admitted a “dreadful” and “inexcusable” error by the broadcaster’s news division during the election campaign made relations with the Government “very heated”.

Alex Mahon, chief executive, said in a newspaper interview that she has overhauled guidelines for use of social media after Channel 4 News posted a viral video that wrongly subtitled Boris Johnson as saying “people of colour” and sparked false allegations of racism. He in fact said “people of talent” and the broadcaster apologised.

Ms Mahon said: “There was a period during the election campaign where things got very heated. We had a dreadful error in what you might call 'people-of-colour-gate’. That was inexcusable.

"The use of social platforms probably evolved past our guidelines.”
