Lol at the airlines with their “save the economy “ balderdash.

UK tourists spend £62 billion overseas each year. Overseas tourists spend £28 billion in the UK each year. If you want to save the economy go on a sangria bender in Blackpool.
They should be nationalised without compensation. And if their 'owners' complain about it, gaol them.

Which is why you have to take these public criticisms of the quarantine with a massive grain of salt. They are only interested in the wellbeing of the corporation.

Yep. The argument has been made by a lot of us on here for ages about face masks, only to be shouted down by the uninformed / government apologists.

What a load of BS from Shapps, by the way: masks are mandatory ONLY when getting on a public transport vehicle and it's voluntary up until then in stations / bus stops etc. Nobhead.

And shops not considered for it "because people move about in shops".

FFS, they have to be dragged kicking and screaming into any safety measure to keep people safer. They are a disgrace.

'kin murderers.
I ignored them from day one, being a vulnerable person , but a former nurseryman I knew I always used to wear a mask with any chemical spray indeed had to pass exams COSH 1&2 to be allowed by law to spray, and supervise spraying ....
This virus is probally airborne from an infected person in any conditions inside or outdoors - I purchased professional. mask from day one £20 each .....rewashable - its basic commonsense really - the propaganda from the government early on was a joke as PPE was lacking as the death figures now sadly relate .......
Basic H&S was blatenly ignored - also masks should be provided free to the public if fines are going to be incurred on public transport.......

@Brennan with his HM Government apologist routine in full swing.

People need to get a grip...no easy thing to do I grant you given the British 24 hour media circus trying to outdo themselves with grim forecasts.

Roughly over the same period (October 2019 to the present) there has been 2,800 deaths due to coronavirus; compared to between 15,000 to 30,000 caused by the common flu. Over half a million annually die from the flu globally.

Dont let these turds spook you.

Learning from the best.

:)

You can’t have your cake and eat it.

You said they were ignoring the scientific advice, they weren’t in this instance.

Doesn't mean they were correct.

Several weeks after it became apparent it was necessary which appears the Government mantra. So yes correct as in a broken clock is correct twice a day.

The independence of SAGE is in serious doubt anyway and the byproduct of that is it's integrity.

N95 masks?

All the advice from that lot I routinely ignore: 2 metre is sufficient rule / no need for face covering / all the 'stay alert' BS.

They've killed 65,000 people minimum right now; why on earth would people follow their guidance? We're not sheep.

How are you getting on Dave, safe indoors?

He braves it all to go out an a bike ride once a day, wrapped up like Sir Edmund Hilary on his accent of K2, just so`s he can shout DEATH, MURDER and SCUM at other cyclists, Staffordshire Bull Terrier owners and people on the beach or in the parks.
