Some people handle being locked away better than others.

Its been almost 3 months.

Stay inside? Thats my idea of heaven, but to my missus, its her idea of hell.
My eldest brother is nigh on a hermit anyway, so this has been bliss for him. Working from home, reading and listening to audio books.

I won't be surprised if he's come out of this with another degree (he's that type of person: has a few now).

He's from Liverpool. I did warn him that he was taking a risk with the North Wales Nazis, sorry Police, probably out looking for plates coming from Liverpool etc.
Personally I find it quite selfish, what’s the point of locals adhering to the restrictions to keep ourselves safe only to then be over run by visitors who have no reason to be here.

So this has caused a bit of commotion, HanCOCK announced 111 as the daily total for the day, 12 less than the hospital figures but a further 446 deaths have been found from pillar 2 testing backdated from 24th April through to yesterday which has altered the 7 day rolling average for all deaths. It had dropped to 258.29 with the 111 but with the pillar 2 additions it has rose again up to 304.43

Can you share it?

I'd be interested to see as I don't think I've ever seen anything stating that which goes beyond folklore or assumption.
It’s mainly in a book called the sports gene, which if you want to track down I fully endorse:

Decentish similar synopsis is found in this article - https://www.theguardian.com/world/2000/nov/26/johnarlidge.theobserver

Things like leg length, hip width etc that you never really think about are determined by genetics. Yes there will be an element of Socio-economic influence, but to completely ignore the importance of genetics is crazy, which is probably also the case with COVID.

Q. Why are East African runners such good long distance runners?

A.socio-economic and cultural factors.

Q. Why does sickle cell syndrome not occur in white people?

A.socio-economic and cultural factors

Q. Why do some East Asians suffer from flushing when drinking alcohol?

A.socio-economic and cultural factors

Good grief.
Can you read? I said "usually".

In any case, your first example is entirely explained by the environment they were born into. The majority of Kenyan distance runners, for example, come from the Kenyan Highlands, 7,000 feet above sea level. That makes their lung capacity a lot greater than people living at sea level.

Why are Jamicans really good at sprinting?

I dont know the answer, but I would guess that the last white sprinter to win the mens 100m gold at an olympics would be Alan Wells in Moscow.

Just musing really. Brazilians are better at football than Icelanders.
