I'm still baffled as to why there are still Tory bellends out there accusing the media of lying about Cummings considering one of the things they are still calling the papers out for as liars is the visit to the castle, even though Cummings has admitted to it.

There is at least one Tory bellend out there insisting Cummings didn’t breach the lockdown whilst themselves breaching the lockdown.

Michael Gove says he has driven to test his eyesight as he defends Dominic Cummings.

Cabinet Office minister Michael Gove defended his former protege Dominic Cummings today in an interview during which he said he too had taken drives to test his eyesight.

Cummings yesterday defended his sighting at Barnard Castle in County Durham during the height of lockdown by saying he and his wife and child had taken a test drive to make sure his eyesight was ok ahead of a planned return to the capital then next day.

Gove was asked on LBC radio if he has ever taken similar drives to test his eyesight.

“I have on occasions in the past driven with my wife in order to make sure…what’s the right way of putting it,” Gove said before being interrupted by an incredulous presenter.

“People would know me would know I am not an authority on driving,” Gove added.

I think it depends on the person - luckily for me when I start getting back working im largely out and about but there are times when im back doing bits at home which works for me.

Alot of people as you say dont realise what its like until the novelty wears off - some folk in my missus job have worked full home working for 8+ years and only see the team once a year if that should they ever have to be in the office for something.

I personally couldn't feel part of a team or in the loop with things if im seeing work colleagues once or twice a year its mad.

I worked from home for over 3 yrs mate, it becomes soul destroying in the end and when you go on works dos you feel like the new boy.

I used to take the car in the end and slope off after showing my face.
