I always took it as, "Look I gave you £1 pocket money in 1990 and now I give you £1.50 in 2020. How much I'm giving you is the highest it's ever been."

Rejoice!!! Cummings has to be goings now and he was the main thing in the whole organisation. This could well bring them down already.

Not a chance, supposedly a government spokesperson has already said Cummings hasn't broken any lockdown rules because his journey was considered essential.

I was going to write a reply that stated how this goes directly against the government's advice to the public, guidelines to the police and the actual legislation.

But what's the point? It's clearly one rule for us (the public) and one rule for them. That's three well-known examples of government advisers failing to adhere.

How we can ask other people to adhere to it?

I don’t see how you can blame the teachers. It was clearly the Chinese.

I think it's the Department of Transport's fault as they should have shut all the roads between London and the North East.

Cummings might think he's come up with a clever excuse but the public wont be hoodwinked by that. People have already been fired for doing less than him. Pressure will continue to mount on him, hes done.
