Surely you should start from the perspective of "what would Churchill do"? He wouldn't be bottling making big decisions, thats for sure.

If I was paranoid, the way Johnson and his advisors are shaping and with it being an old persons disease, well fatally anyway, it would be a good way for his government to save a packet on pensions. Gain herd immunity, strong survive, weak and old perish, well in Boris you lying Ferret. :)

What is happening then Dave. Not in Italy, nor Spain nor any other country, what is happening here in the U.K. ? At this moment in time 10 people have died, so please tell me what you think is happening......
A failure to centralise command for this crisis into central government. Put it on a wartime footing. That IS happening in places like S.Korea.

If this were the Second World War, Johnson and Hancock would be Chamberlain and Lord Halifax. Appeasers.

You keep saying how great he was Joe and how he had all these worms all over the place but i didn't see it.
What actually was his point?
John Aston the man who fought the government over the Hillsborogh disaster- yes just ignore him public events now closed down voluntarily let's the insurance companies of the hook .......
At the end of the day without being polictical they have the economy to look after - those bragging about the EU they had to step in as Eurobonds were plummeting- I agree it has to be about balance, but also common sense on borders to stop this virus exploding even more.....particularly in the UK ATM....

Alas, my forte is in football club governance. But I do know that standing back and telling everyone to wash their hands when their house is on fire is not the way forward.

No ones house is on fire though. Meanwhile washing hands actually helps to delay the spread of the virus. Everyone could sit in their own homes for 3 months, the economy collapses, then afterwards a visitor from China, Spain, Argentina or wherever arrives with the same bug and everyone catches it again, or we all go back home for 3 months.....

Many of us thought he would be pummelled in the last election and look how that turned out. He could commit mass genocide and idiots in their millions will still support him and blame Corbyn or something.

You the man Joe.

I'd have you before Boris anyday.

These bellends will be on the run soon. First their "modelling exercise" will be sidelined, then they'll be struggling to survive politically.

They've fiddled while Rome burns. History will judge them and condemn them.
