Dido Harding overseeing the appy clappy crowd...:D

The Government has appointed Baroness Harding to lead the COVID-19 Test and Trace Taskforce, ex-CEO of Talk Talk when 4 million people had bank details accessed by fraudsters. When asked if the data was encrypted or not, she said: "The awful truth is that I don’t know." (

I think I know where we got our new slogan from. The French have a new coronavirus slogan.

Restez prudent

Which literally means stay prudent. Or be on your guard, or even stay alert.

It's not a great a slogan like. But it's only a slogan.

“Those whom the Gods wish to destroy they first make mad“

Boris says.....the weekend will be this Saturday and Sunday
BBC asks.....do you mean this weekend or next weekend, what do you mean by ‘this’
Piers Morgan screams at some poor soul....the government doesn’t know which weekend it is...well what is it...answer me
The Mail states that...Boris has screwed up the weekends and football might not be played
Sturgeon says...Scotland will have its weekends on a Monday and a Tuesday and will not kow tow to England
The Express says...The EU is falling apart, Italy is hiding 20,000 bodies and WW3 is about to break out
The Sun says...nice tits
Starmer says...I agree with the Prime Minister that he’s doing a wonderful job, but I have another lame question
Davek says...they’re murdering people at the weekend and sends in the 15th Hussars to cut down a family having a picnic.....

Just another day in the U.K......

Teachers and staff in the vulnerable age group or close to should maybe be given the golden retirement handshake.

In Denmark, vulnerable teachers are being given the job of looking after the online stuff, which makes sense in the short to medium term. I understand where you're coming from, in that there's a possibility the virus can't be eliminated, but it'd be a shame to lose good teachers purely on the grounds of their health.

Ultimately though, they might have to be given the choice between accepting the risk ( hopefully a much reduced one ) later this year or next year, or leaving the profession, but we need real evidence before making final decisions.
