What I dont get is why is it okay for the likes of Italy, France, Spain and large parts of the world to start easing lockdown measures but when we do it Karen gobs off on twitter?

Said it before but our media has played a massive part in this - done nothing for the past 7 weeks than scare the hell out of people with tales of 20 year olds dying of COVID-19 and ethnic minorities under siege and now every bugger is scared senseless of slowly easing measures.

Also a large portion of lazy gets who are furloughed just dont want to go back to work imo - the amount of people living comfortably on the 80% whilst drinking peroni in their garden every day of the week having BBQ's like its an extended summer holiday is hilarious - get them back grafting Boris lad especially those who cut peoples hair for a living.
Is karen any better with a pair of scissors than @Paris
Might be easier on your bum if she is lol

People need to get a grip...no easy thing to do I grant you given the British 24 hour media circus trying to outdo themselves with grim forecasts.

Roughly over the same period (October 2019 to the present) there has been 2,800 deaths due to coronavirus; compared to between 15,000 to 30,000 caused by the common flu. Over half a million annually die from the flu globally.

Dont let these turds spook you.

lol

Sorry @davek

Or... Rather than forcing people to choose between possible death from Covid19 or possible financial hardship, you could work on clearer messaging?

Or...rather than going into panic mode and losing all sense of perspective, you could listen to the detail that will be presented to Parliament today...and then get in touch with your employer......

That's been highlighted loads on here. I answered that fully. I held my hands up very early on when the facts changed and the horror of this was upon us.

28th Feb that.

A burden for you to bear...

You are an apologist for all this.

That's a burden for you to bear.

Whenever you're arguing the toss, you can always find an early post with you having the contradictory view.

Maybe sometimes pause, and assess.

care workers are dying from this at a greater rate than anyone else, something that is also certainly because of a lack of PPE and how that industry was configured

I saw a report that showed that NHS staff who have died are in line with the national rate and that no one working in an ICU had died from the virus...it may be wrong but the numbers seemed to stack up.....
