Yet many on here have said they won’t use the App. So next I expect an argument about the quality of the App etc etc. as an excuse not to use it . Anything really just to keep kicking the ball down the road. If Boris said lockdown continues, you will complain, if he says it is a step by step back to work, you will complain. If the sodding virus disappeared I would fully expect you to complain. It really is time for people to grow up........

This is risible - I want the Government to deal with this. That’s it. If anyone is playing their usual political BS here then it’s you.

Since you mention it though, I want an app that will tell you when you’ve come into contact who has developed symptoms of this virus in sufficient detail so you can work out the level of risk (even if that effectively tells you who it is) and tells PHE that you and them need a test and contact work doing. I want there to be a properly staffed tracing and testing regime to work with it, and is capable of doing it quickly so that it cuts down the number of people exposed. I want firms to be back at work after being supported in making work safe and not feeling that they have to make people come in. I want information from the state to be clear, easy to follow and reasonable, not contradicted by leaks, “a source said...” and off the record briefings.

I think it would be best to be accompanied by a Lawyer who can discuss a myriad of potential hazardous actions that you could do that was not covered in a five minute TV presentation. I’m just amazed that some of the people on here would be able to find their way to work in the daylight.....

Ok. I'm sure you wouldn't have had any issue with the army and the police on UK streets to enforce a lockdown for a pandemic which, at that at that point, you were saying was 'hyped up' by the same Government.

It's all utter nonsense now.
We can see one other person from another household but not two people from that household.
So, if someone doesn't live with his parents then he could see one parent in then morning and the other in the afternoon. So...the first parent could infect the son anyway, or the second one could. And if the son is a carrier then he simply infects both parents a couple of hours apart, or gives it to one parent who goes home and infects the other.
The rules should allow you to meet anyone in another household if distancing can be applied. Meeting only one person in another household is a pointless restriction as that person then goes home and passes the infection on to the rest of that household anyway.

Limiting to two people is to reduce the total number of people gathering in these green spaces.

Again, common sense. Just because you are permitted to go the park with somebody doesn’t mean you should automatically do it, never mind doing it every day.

People need to take personal responsibility.

Scotland, wales and Ireland gave all given different instructions nationally ..... all johnson is worried about (or Cummings and the Erg should I say) is the financial implications...... what’s a few thousand more deaths when you can make millions profiteering from this ?

The instructions of the UK Government have already been rejected by the 3 of those 4 countries.

I think those tests are useful to get NHS workers/vital workers back to work, but largely pointless for a general population.

Populist measures and a blag to claim testing is happening.

Only worthwhile tests for the general population IMO, is the blood tests.
