Our sense of superiority out west always surprises, such a rich and wise cultures out east, even the sense of community is impressive in suppression, you will find an odd exception like most things, but in general, the east in many ways has become richer then the west.

Nothing like a crisis to separate the men from the boys,
I see the type of discipline (and sense of community) in places like South Korea and then compare it with here, where the entitled attitude of the individaul is paramount and encouraged, and I must say our societies are found wanting.

The real fault lies with HM Government for us, but there is also, looking around, a lot of evidence that in the UK especially we are lax as a people. Forty years of neo-liberalism has hollowed out society. If Thatcher had made her famous 'there is no such thing as society' comment today, it'd have been a lot closer to the mark than when it was uttered in 1987.

TRANSITION PERIOD TILL WE LEAVE....interpret it anyway you want we are still joined to them till an agreement can be reached.....

It's official - the UK has left the European Union.

A cause for celebration for some, a sobering moment for others. The UK formally ended its EU membership at the stroke of midnight on Friday in Brussels, 23:00 GMT in London

A projection of a countdown clock in Downing Street marked the occasion.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson has hailed the "dawn of a new era", promising "real national renewal" after 47 years of EU membership.

Transitionally yes but the nitty gritty is still to be worked out - anyway why is this on this thread?

Wrong again ffs. Can you read?

We have left the EU and entered the Transition Period. The absolute basics.

The xenophobic clueless "oh I am being bullied because someone has proven me wrong" crowd who haven't even realised the UK has done what they were bleating for. It's incredible. A total waste of time and effort.

What are the chances you have stayed isolated with no external visitors during this period despite you being a near constant drain on the NHS in normal times - an NHS that relies on The Forens you so palpably despise? Absolute 'kall chance. And the irony, the absolute irony, is that YOU will have been a net drain on the State, railing at home against EU workers who have come to the UK and been net contributors.

I wonder who Comrade @davek will blame lol
Some murderer I expect.....
Yes, I will. The murderer who let the virus rip through the country is the same one who issued the dog whistle messages over an easing of the lockdown.

Anyway, you two keep laughing and making jokes over the continuing death rate, still up in the hundreds, and offering your apology for the perpetrators of the massacre.

Anfield GoatFrand, by Arkles Lane/Stanley Park
Saw that before, police cars were flying all over the place, down spellow and county road. Were all gathered just the other side of Arkles Lane by the time I’d walked the dog up that way. They did the post office opposite the Brick last week, the police have asked if anybody saw someone with a mask on.

He's genuinely turned it again into "I'm under attack". Easier to do when it's just a bunch of Forens to rail against, of course.

'Kin coward, intellectually redundant xenophobia.

I wouldn't say appetite is the word or at least not the rank and file.

A few weeks ago, I’d see people getting pulled up and I’m just not seeing that any more.

Speke seems to be full of people having BBQ’s and on the ale. Woolton is full of teenagers, as are the surrounding parks.
There’s been mention of Sefton Park being the same.

How can you realistically police this !
