Yes Dave, unless 'dealing with this efficiently' is damning praise.
Dealing with it efficiently is the same as me stating Ireland had a tracking app (or even that such an app was worthwhile)?

From vallance’s comments , it appears the test I mentioned earlier is very possible legitimate

Q: How far are we from having a widespread antibody test?

Vallance says reliable laboratory-based tests are already available

Lab based tests have been available for weeks (possibly months); the problem has been the disposable quick tests that don’t need taking to a lab.

As if I'm downloading an app designed by Cummings' mate that's been called NHSX to con people in to downloading it. The country seems to be heading towards Fascism which isn't surprising after seeing photos of book shelves belonging to the nutcases that are running the country.
They want to be playing pac man with us.

It's doubtful it works anyway. Exclusive: ‘Wobbly’ tracing app ‘failed’ clinical safety and cyber security tests.

"The app is being trialled on the Isle of Wight this week, ahead of a national rollout later this month. Senior NHS sources told HSJ it had thus far failed all of the tests required for inclusion in the app library, including cyber security, performance and clinical safety".

Serco and G4S are in line to be awarded the contract to do the 'test and tracing'. Unbelievable, that the government has turned to those two organisations.

"Mr Hancock has been accused of a “missed opportunity” by failing to sign up around 5,000 local council environmental health workers – and thousands more in the private sector, now furloughed in the shutdown".

Coronavirus
Security concerns make PSNI and jail staff wary of using virus phone app

Security workers in Northern Ireland may be reluctant to download a new contact-tracing app over fears their personal details could be compromised, a former Special Branch officer has warned.

The LP were calling for the UK to come into line with other European nations who were locking down (and advocating taking WHO's line on that). The Tories vacillated for a week or more before doing that. The former Chief Scientific advisor, David King, concluded that each day that went by cost thousands of more lives.

Are you actually taking the stance that political decision making will make no difference to the direction and severity a nation experiences this virus? That's a very strange thing to believe, and completely counter-intuitive.

So, assuming that there aren't a reserve group of scientific experts in the country that have a wildly different perspective on things, you must assume that the government have either diverged wildly from what the experts propose, or that you think Labour would have done so?

*sigh

NHSX were created last year to explore the best way for technology to drive the NHS. You could well argue that it will fail as various other initiatives to bring modern technology into the NHS, but to argue that it was created a year ago for when an unknown pandemic hit the entire world so they could pinch Roger Milla's precious bodily data is a bit far fetched.

Yeah you're right. No Fascist Government has ever wanted to know what it's subject's are up to. How naive of me

You said the app was called NHSX to trick people into downloading it. NHSX was established in April last year, for the reasons I mentioned.

I know some of the people working there, and they may be a bit slimey and careerist, but they're not as Machiavellian as you believe.

If they're anything to do with Cummings and his cronies then I highly doubt that

No Dave. You said Ireland was doing the right thing by having a tracing program. Now we are finally getting our act together and putting together a tracing program you have decided it’s worthless because it’s being done by a Conservative government. Much the same as if they’d announced they weren’t going to bother one you’d castigate them as murderers.

It’s amazing how much you squirm when confronted with your own pea brained logic.
