Did you even listen to the science guy and the medical expert?
If we lock the country down now then things can/will still get a lot worse over the next few weeks.
Locking down the country for a couple of weeks is going to devastate the economy. Imagine having to expend that for a further 2 weeks, then another 2 weeks.
Or they can wait to put in place the right action at the right time.
This is why you’re probably fine.Well if that happens then I will be taking the government to court and sending the country back to the stone age by taking every single penny. Or I might just accept that I did plenty of immoral things in Thailand and Cambodia and it is just my bad karma biting me on the arse.

It's worse compared to the disclosed cases by the Chinese.2651 official new cases in Italy during the last 24 hours. That's worse than during China's worst days.
I don't think it does tbh
Why let something linger? Yes, I get that we haven't been able to find a cure just yet and they probably want time for that, but just saying lets deal with it and see what happens when everyone else is at least trying to contain it, is absolutely mental
Yes, I did but come on now, everyone else is doing at least something and our plan is to do nothing at all. That is backwards.
What happens if thousands upon thousands are affected and then die because we didn't try to do anything? That's going to be a case 'oh well, that happened, they're dead now.' Nah, sorry, doesn't sit right.

Christ, planted questions in press conferences now
If you think there is anything the government can do to stop people dying then you're delusional.Yes, I did but come on now, everyone else is doing at least something and our plan is to do nothing at all. That is backwards.

‘Everybody else doing it’ isn’t proof of the validity of anything.
Worth noting Italy are on full on lockdown. The same country that totally failed to deal with the virus to begin with. I’m not sure we should be copying them.

When there is a lethal virus, people die. That's fact. You can't stop people dying.
What you're asking for is fantasy land. What the government is offering is realism.
