I dont know mate. But the logic of accepting its here, loads will get it, but trying to spread that over several months instead of weeks, does seem sensible. More so when pretty clever scientists explain the whys and wherefores.

If we lock the country down now then things can/will still get a lot worse over the next few weeks.
Locking down the country for a couple of weeks is going to devastate the economy. Imagine having to expend that for a further 2 weeks, then another 2 weeks.
Or they can wait to put in place the right action at the right time.

Why let something linger? Yes, I get that we haven't been able to find a cure just yet and they probably want time for that, but just saying lets deal with it and see what happens when everyone else is at least trying to contain it, is absolutely mental
