Has there been any analysis as to the reliability of home testing? I can certainly see the benefits of sending the tests to people rather than requiring a symptomatic individual out into the public to get tested, but equally, the tests seem to be hugely invasive, and I wonder if people are willing to subject themselves to it such that proper results are obtained?
I’ve got no problem with the concept of home tests whatsoever.
Just the counting them before they’ve happened.
In my line of work, massaging the numbers in such a way would get my sacked.

It only makes sense' if your trying to save face/your political career with your 100 000 tests a day agenda.

There's no way we can end the lock down without face masks. Fully expect 'evidence' to show that face masks are indeed essential wear, to slow down the spread of the virus - which was always the case - to enable the lock down to end.

Edit. As well as questioning/muddy the waters over the '2 metre rule'.

Edit. This from the BBC.

Possible post-lockdown workplace rules revealed
You can see how effective the propaganda against wearing face masks has been when you look on this forum. Apparently serious postings that "it makes no difference" have been made when clearly it has always made some difference. In an effort to look *counter-edgy* they chose to shore up the official utterings of the incompetent scum in government.

Well done lads. You were wrong again.

What’s wrong with hot desking and open plan offices?
It’s a bold claim it’s got to be said. Companies save money on building/renting huge offices and the benefits of open plan offices leading to more collaboration/productivity is clearly a neo-liberal ploy?

I’ve experienced both and hotdesking has had a massively positive impact on the team dynamic, both from a personal and professional perspective. We are much closer as a team and work much better since we’ve done it. It’s also allowed for home working which is a massive positive too.

Unless there is clinical clean after each different hot desk use, and screens put around each desk, ta ta tight ass boss... Unleash and trust the work force. The only answer is from home.
I understand that bit. But what is your problem with hot desking.

Of course face masks will be essential. The tories have been terrified to accept this and admit it because of their failings with getting face masks for front line workers.
