Going over government statements with a fine tooth comb. I understood you lived in Wales, for instance, and I don't recall hearing anything from the devolved administration, NHS Wales, or any of those. Regarding care homes...

...are all probably more useful than whichever government monkey they wheel out at tea time.
I have never lived in Wales, and I don't see people wanting to know what is happening in an extraordinary time of global crisis as anything other than completely normal. It certainly isn't a reason to treat them with disdain.

The Tories.
Ha, I am expecting that to come along at some point whether they're blame or not and regardless of the specific circumstances.
But Mr Gething told BBC Radio Wales he had been given advice that testing everyone in the sector was not the best use of resources.
You'd suspect that regular and methodicial testing of at risk sectors and key workers would be a really good use of resources.

Still not sure I follow though really. If you had a relative in a home in Bournemouth, I can very much understand how keen you'd be to understand what they're doing in that specific home, and perhaps even in that town, but I'm not sure what events in Skegness would have to do with your great aunt Joey in Bournemouth?

Thats a bit silly though mate. You can care about something like elder abuse as a macro national issue or even human rights international issue, without having to go micro on it and accuse of some macabre voyeurism. I care about people in care homes in the UK and i'm not even in the UK.

Why have Johnson Hancock and every other Minister been comparing our death rates to other countries and in particular Italy from the onset, I would happily give out some credence had you been questioning this comparison from the beginning. If they had wanted to be open honest and transparent they would have from the very beginning laid these caveats out very publicly. Its not what they say its what they don't say and its that simple to catch Tory Government out.

Not getting the social distancing thing or lack of PPE...

They show a comparison, because if they didn’t then the media would do it for them. At least this was they have some control and consistency. I see they have dropped the Chinese figures. Personally I would also drop the German, Korean and USA figures, because they simply have no bearing on the U.K. there are a small group of countries with similar numbers which we can look at, gain comfort from or at least see why our numbers will go up or down versus this particular group. What numbers would you put up that would make you feel happier or more informed ?....

Silliness is one of the founding principles of GOT.

They are making mistakes but on a whole think they are doing ok.
