And now he invokes Godwin's Law. You are a poor poster child for your disgusting conservative cohort.

I wondered where you were....and if you look I was merely explaining what Adi was actually short for.....It actually came as a surprise to the poster of that name......yours too by the looks of it....

You did not wonder where I was because I tagged you earlier but you had no valid response.
And any evertonian worth his salt would know what Adi Dassler refers to, there's even a clue in the guy's avatar.

But I am sure you are more of a lonsdale/dunlop kind of guy. Take care tory boy.

Don't know where else to put this but think I should say for anyone else having to use the UC system.

I basically complained online using the journal about the tosh payment I received (£180 backdated to March 20) - with £229 of my £409 allowance having been deducted for tax and national insurance as I had (truthfully declared) earnings of £365 for the period between March 20 and April 19.

They called me today to basically just tell me what I already knew - it had been deducted because I earned £365 (such a huge, huge figure I'm sure we'll all agree).

I asked why so much. So for every £ that you declare, your Universal Credit is deducted by 63p.

63p to every £.

Just be wary.

I don't know what I'm going to have to do next month. My earnings atm might be a few hundred again. But that's not enough for me to live off... I'll be dipping into the little savings I have left just to cover my outgoings. And I'm 'one of the lucky ones', so to speak (albeit I don't feel very lucky when it comes to having received any assistance at all from the government or help in any form financially despite having lost a significant amount of work - because I had the sheer audacity to go fully self-employed in April 2019 rather than April 2018).

looks like you’re the one who can’t ‘give it a rest’ eh Pete

Stop bickering with each other or at least take it to PM.

Well it should not come down to luck. But here we are.

OFF TOPIC
Genuine question, are Antifa considered far left in the US?

Yes.

Advocating "direct action" will get you tagged with the "radical" or "reactionary" label in the US depending on which side of the street your politics are located.

If you advocate "direct action" and your politics don't cluster with those of others at one side of the political spectrum or the other, the most likely labels are "criminal" and "insane".

It shouldn't, but I meant as in I haven't got a family to provide for.

The vast majority of self-employed people are being taken care off - albeit it should be done much quicker than June.

But there's a bunch who aren't and obviously it's really daunting.

I don't want sport to come back until it's safe to do so but it's also the vast majority of my living, so the sooner it's back, the better for me, I won't lie.
