£60000 life insurance pay outs for NHS and Care Workers who pass from this. Well, their families, but you get the point.

Seems incredibly and sadly low. A lot of other sector play-offs clear mortgages etc.

It’s something though isn’t it ? I don’t know enough about it to go through it but At first glance it’s the very least they could do but it’s certainly something .

If killed do prison officers and coppers get pay outs , not insurance or pension money , just one offs ?

4x salary is pretty common for a lot of people I deal with, so significantly higher than what the NHS are being offered. Any NHS Staff trying to get life insurance at the minute won't stand a chance because of the new covid questions most insurers have implemented.

It's a nice gesture but nowhere near enough for the risk they're taking and the fact they aren't likely to get cover elsewhere due to their occupation at the moment.

something though isn’t it ? I mean I don’t want to be defending this shower but it’s better than a Talking up a medal or simply clapping them .

Oh shut up you melon - the post I was responding to is that some people who have signs of serious illness such as cancer, heart problems etc are staying at home rather than getting tested at hospitals in fear of catching the virus.

So if you start peeing blood I take it you'll do the noble and apparantly right thing and stay at home and die terminally just so you dont potentially catch a virus - hmmm of course you would m8.

This was unnecessary

Pretty sure the NHS have a DIS scheme, on top of widow/dependent pension payments. Police deffo do.

I assume this £60k is on top of that. (Havnt a clue about agency staff mind).
