I'm not sure I want to wear a mask or agree with it being the long term solution. Lots of the people wearing masks I see in the supermarket act like they are totally protected so don't have to distance from everyone else. It's started to wind me up a bit over the last couple of weeks.

I will get my good lady to make robots out of dyson parts - the was little need to fly in farm labourers from anywhere untested ......it's not rocket science field work - the government have caved in to greedy landowner farmers......to pick any crop as for strawberrys their main Out let of sale the Winbledon tennis is a dead duck - they just don't want to pay the minimum wage end of ....- I did field work at the age of 16 years old - without the mechanisation they have now - sorry the excuse the skills are not in this country is totally absurd one days training on cutting crops or planting crops is all that is necessary- to fly workers in from anywhere is absurd , and dangerous........If it means strawberries are 50p cheaper, they can bring out an army of robot @Joey66 for all I care.
You're not far behind......To be fair I made more sense of that than I do some of @Joey66 posts
There is a pub nearby that I pass on my daily walk/run, which I normally do about 9pm. In the past it's opened itself up for EDL/UKIP/Brexit party gatherings.Judging by the US, they'll be the first muppets to demand things are opened up again, coz they don't fear no virus.

It appears locked and closed for business but they're clearly still open for a few regulars.
Huge generalisation but they certainly tend to be those who feel the rules don’t apply to them .
It's obviously only an anecdotal tale of the experience I've had in the one supermarket I go to. It could be just coincidence.
Deaths per million in Ireland 217What's happening in Ireland? I haven't read an awful lot about it - which suggests that Ireland are doing better than the UK?
Not aimed at you specifically, but the general sneering attitude towards farm work perhaps explains why labour tends to be imported. It seems to be work that's viewed as beneath many Brits.
