Where do you think they'll finish at the end of the season?
It was a list for your benefit not mine. Do with it what you will.If you go through your own list, how many issues are down to the minister, all of them, 1 or 2, none ?.....
Seasonal flu has been endemic in the country for the entirety of this year and last but coronavirus deaths only started happening in mid to late March so you are comparing widely different timeframes/populations infected.![]()
Coronavirus: Deaths at 20-year high but peak may be over
Numbers dying nearly double above what would be expected, but peak may now be over, say experts.www.bbc.co.uk
But the figures for 2020 also show the impact of flu and pneumonia compared to coronavirus.
The number of deaths from flu and pneumonia - at more than 32,000 - is three times higher than the total number of coronavirus deaths this year.
That is speculation, you can't possibly know this.
And yes, I think the numbers would be similar to a bad flu, which they aren't even at now. The cold and flu are even outperforming the coronavirus THIS YEAR - 3x higher! https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-52361519

The coronavirus has been around for about half the year thus far, yet had a third of the deaths. Even if it were double the deaths, it still wouldn't necessitate this huge overreaction.Seasonal flu has been endemic in the country for the entirety of this year and last but coronavirus deaths only started happening in mid to late March so you are comparing widely different timeframes/populations infected.
If coronavirus deaths stay below the totals for seasonal flu over the next couple of months we’ll be very fortunate.
LIVE RIGHT NOW GUYS!That is speculation, you can't possibly know this.

If you're a fan of disproportionate measures and choose to ignore the numbers, then you should be happy. lolThank god governments and folks in general are (mostly) listening to experts and not you

If coronavirus deaths stay below the totals for seasonal flu over the next couple of months we’ll be very fortunate and it will be because of dramatic steps taken to reduce the spread.

The first documented case of UK community infection (ie not contracted abroad) was Feb 28th. There is to date no evidence that it was widely circulating from the start of the year and even now the number of people who have been exposed is unknown because of the lack of testing, especially serology tests. The coronavirus has been around for about half the year thus far, yet had a third of the deaths. Something isn’t right though is it. My wife and I seem to have had flu/cold/runny noses/sore throat or whatever since December. I wish to God I knew what the hell Is going on, but this is the worst year I’ve seen.....
