My missus keeps bees and has to go and to check them at the apiary, one of the fella's who is in her group works at Heathrow (he's just been furloughed) and he mentioned it to her.
I'm very sure numbers are down However The government keep telling us they are beeing led by the experts, I assume when they start talking numbers. These numbers are verified by the experts and handed to Ministers to share etc!

Someone was saying that at this time of the year Heathrow is normally seeing just over a 100k passengers coming in, it's now down to just a touch under 5k.
There’s also the issue that the Border Agency is not qualified to perform medical assessments of travellers, screening would require the setup of testing stations at airports, which diverts resources from elsewhere and inevitably leads to the next outrage that forrens are getting tested ahead of people in the UK.

I bought peanut butter marmite. It’s surprisingly excellent and I have that on my crumpets.
I can only regret that the Inquisition no longer has the tools available to deal with such things.

I can only hope our President has alerted our armed forces to keep this kind of atrocity away from our fair shores. Freedom is one thing, but there are limits.

Next thing, we'll be eating beans for breakfast.

WHO getting criticized left right and center over this and rightly so.I think Roger Daltrey and his crew should keep their noses out of something they know nothing about frankly.

They won't be fooled again but I can't explain to them when you can see for miles and miles even behind my blue eyes that my generation is gonna suffer thanks to Boris the Spider.

That's the thing mate, and I'm not defending the government because they've handled all this badly, but they are in a position of 'damned if they do, damned if they don't' scenario.

Almost like leadership comes with a responsibility or something

Boris and his cronies have been a shambles through all this, but every decision they make (even if a good one, no laughing at the back) there will always be a section of the media, experts, the population who will have a pop at them for it, that's why I was saying damned if they do...that's the point I was making.

looks like the bone idle will dictate when and how we reopen

The Executive in NI didn’t want to close the schools as early as they did I think but the public were ahead of them. They started taking their kids out of school regardless.

If people don’t feel safe going back to work or putting their kids back in school then it will be hard to ease restrictions.

They aren't damned, that is an exaggeration (even if certain right wingers on here, who were openly happy to ignore the lockdown at the cost of lives a few weeks ago cry about people questioning their performance and throw disturbing accusations around). No one is slamming them for building the nightingale hospitals, they are being quite rightly scrutinized in other areas. As I've said what distrust for them they have built themselves, on the back of the most dishonest election campaign I've ever witnessed they have continued into a humanitarian crisis with the same old scripted crap, misinformation and deliberately obscure figures. If they'd shown humility and been open and honest they would get a lot more patience from the public, but that is just alien to them.

This is in no way an attack on yourself by the way
