1. There really aren’t, apart from repatriation flights. Most flights coming in are flying cargo in, which is being flown at a premium. Once repariates are in the country, they are under the exact same orders. These are the exact same people that ITV were screaming that it was unfair to leave behind at the start of this.

2. ‘Anonymous Border Guard’ Sounds like a completely made up source.

3. Do you not think other countries lockdowns might just be keeping people in their homes and stopping them from travelling?

4. what exactly is in place to form an effective quarantine at airports? Presumably one person on a plane = entire flight into quarantine.

Flights are coming to the UK from hotspots like New York, Madrid, Miland and Paris and people are not getting checked/tested for coronavirus. I doesn't matter if they are coming back home they should be tested and quarantined like they have done in Australia.

"I am an Australian citizen or permanent resident
All travellers arriving in Australia must undertake a mandatory 14-day quarantine at designated facilities (for example, a hotel), in their port of arrival.

You can travel to Australia if you are an Australian citizen, a permanent resident, an immediate family member of an Australian citizen or permanent resident or are a New Zealand citizen usually resident in Australia. If you are an immediate family member holding a temporary visa you will need to provide us with evidence of your relationship.

Australian citizen
Australian citizens can enter Australia, even without a valid Australian passport. If you don’t have a valid passport, please advise airline staff that you are an Australian citizen and do not require a visa to enter Australia (even if you are a dual national). The airline will contact the Australian Border Force to verify your citizenship. It is important you get to the airport early in case of any delays. Departure from the country you are in is subject to the rules and decisions of authorities in that country.

Permanent resident
You must undertake a mandatory 14-day quarantine at designated facilities (for example, a hotel), in your port of arrival. Provisional (temporary) visa holders cannot come to Australia".

"Australian citizens and residents returning from overseas will be forced to quarantine in hotels in a bid to stop the spread of Covid-19 from returning passengers in breach of existing self-isolation requirements.

On Friday, Scott Morrison announced that national cabinet had agreed on the strict new measures to apply from midnight on Saturday, with the Australian Defence Force also set to help state law enforcement increase checks on passengers who arrived before the deadline, who are supposed to self-isolate for 14 days".

Passengers from hotspots can just walk off the plane, queue at customs and then go on their merry way. Potentially spreading the virus.

WHO getting criticized left right and center over this and rightly so.I think Roger Daltrey and his crew should keep their noses out of something they know nothing about frankly.

they could escape a lot of that if journalists started referring to them as OMS when asking Trump for his opinion
