Do you think you've got the worst to come?
A senior doctor said this morning he thinks we’re past the peak of hospital admissions but the peak of deaths still to come over the next 10 days.

We’ve had nearly 200 deaths here so far, but that is way below what was predicted. I think the models estimated 3000 for NI. I think we locked down earlier in the spread than London and like NZ we don’t really have high population density outside of urban centres.

It's funny reading it because all that rebuttal does is reinforce that they've seen their arse over it, panicked and cobbled together an incoherent mess as a response which is basically a British version of Trump yelling "FAKE NEWS" - when it's clearly anything but that.

At least we know for sure now that Times article was 100% on the money.

Greek Easter Sunday went without a hitch. All the people seemed to follow the rules. No visitors or BBQS apart from one house. That was stopped within an hour, with all the neighbours having a right pop at them.
I’m impressed with the Greeks handling of the situation. I suppose everyone had to pull together seeing as they only have something like 500 ICU beds!!

But it appears that whatever they’re doing is working. Maybe that’s what happens when you’ve lived through such financial and economic hardship, if anything it seems to have brought the nation together.

Think it's worth noting that some of these flights may be completely empty. Particularly the transatlantic flights as they need to keep going business as usual to get the US government's bailout money.
Passenger flights are also being used for goods transportation such as medicines and fresh food because shipping has basically ground to a halt

Short term you’d imagine Arse is probably going to be falling out of the property market . However if you’ve got any cash at the minute then you’d think you’d get yourself some bargains .

Most brewers concentrating on the haemorrhaging share prices at the min and staying afloat at the minute .
If you were lucky enough to have sold and gone into rented before this kicked off, then you are in a very good position. House prices are expected to take a 20% dip in value.

It's the most Tory thing ever when you think about it isn't it?

Let's not give the NHS what it needs - let's just give them a good ol' clap instead.

... its like giving soldiers a pat on the back as they went over the top in WW1 ffs.

Now come on, if you can rely on old men and professional cyclists torturing themselves to top up the funds, why would you?

yeah .

honestly a mate of mine messaged me this morning saying his plan is to ride it out and buy up as much as he can next year . People are going to be struggling badly and the market will reflect that . I’ll try and recoup what I’ll have lost and from a selfish point of view earn a bit but who knows .
