Seems every bugger and their dog was travelling in Italy & Asia bringing this thing back with them.

If more people went to Pontins or Blackpool instead we would all be out in a beer garden right now instead of being stuck in with hair growing over our ears.

if you paid £1m upfront for a house you’d never looked at properly and never done a survey on and then discovered it was built on sand and slipping into the sea then frankly that is on you isn’t it ?

I’m certainly not excusing the Chinese but the British government don’t get a free pass either .

they do not analyse things the same way as we do mate.

it’s all about face saving and nationalism. They are well prepare to sacrifice a lot of things just to preserve that.

The obvious choice for them now is to be humble and provide free aids to build a coalition to negate their wrongdoing. But no, they come out mocking and boasting about their fake achievement in an antagonising way with lots of wild accusations thrown in.

this is not the same China under Deng or Jiang.

Xi personal ambition is much more intrusive and throughout his reign, the population seems to harness an anti siege and offensive mindset.

Lots saying don't trust China, don't trust Germany, don't trust UK etc etc. Basically don't trust anyone unless the figures fit the sensationalist idea that this is the worst virus man has seen. Every country has different factors as to why they've more or less deaths from having a vast older population or terrible air pollution to being prepared for an outbreak to unprepared. The only outbreak that can be taken as an example of what this will end up like is the Diamond Princess ship, was basically a lab condition breakout that. If you want to see how deadly the virus is etc etc look no further than there every other country is day by day, will drag on for a good while longer before accurate data can be obtained, not using models, and is pointless to assume/ speculate. Diamond Princess has the stats no models required.

I am not so sure, as I believe has been pointed out here before, would the typical demographic on board a cruise ship not lean more towards middle aged and older people, such as retirees?
