Cheers mate, it's a scandalous situation. All these front line NHS staff and many others have been seriously let down.

Its an awful situation, your partner must be terrified of getting sick themselves, then infecting you and family, while all the time you are worried about them. Its very stressful, It’s the vicious circle all health care workers are walking. Behind us all there are people we care about we are terrified of infecting.

I can guarantee you there is a warehouse somewhere the Goverment will have rationed PPE for the future, one bin bag photo going viral and I bet it will be there in hours flat.

Sending all my best mate.

You're spot on there. Cheers mate, much appreciated.

'Jasper Lawler, head of research at London Capital Group, has warned against getting too hopeful about its prospects:

The report that set off the gains said that early data on Gilead’s coronavirus medicine Remdesivir is ‘very encouraging’. The early data referred to is a clinical trial of 125 patients at the University of Chicago with coronavirus who were all given Remdesivir and have nearly all survived with a speedy recovery within a week.
If we’re playing devil’s advocate to the bullish reaction – an important word here ‘is ‘early’. It was a small trial and there was no control group so there’s plenty of room for error.'

Those of us who observe the feather trigger reactions of the stock markets did take note of this.

I must admit, I don’t think I would be brave enough to do what these frontline NHS heroes are doing.

The ones who are actually giving it their all deserve a knighthood.

The net is tightening on this shambolic government.
Hopefully, there will be a reckoning one day, Beefs. But I reckon we'll all be so overjoyed when the release comes that we'll forget the worst and remember the best.
They'll get away with it.

No chance it'll be til July, people can't stay in for that long

I'm treating it like we're in the 'middle' of three thirds of lockdown so far.

Those thirds are in 3-week blocks.

If - obviously a big if - our numbers stay steady and then start to decline by the end of this current block (so May 7th), then the next 3-weeks will probably be brought in with the caveat that certain businesses etc may be allowed to open. In a similar way to other European countries (which must serve as 'canaries' for us) are doing so - they are countries that are ahead of us.

That would just be gradual easing and no major lift of the lockdown stuff.

Then, maybe towards the end of May, we'd start looking at more things being opened.

If all goes according to plan, you could see life - with certain social-distancing measures, especially on gatherings - back to some form of normality in mid-June time.

So you did commend them then. And yes you are blinded. This started in China. Them lobbing a few face masks around doesnt alter that.

Thats the crime.
"Started in China." It could have started anywhere. Swine flu = Mexico; Avian Flu = Hong Kong; MERS = middle east; Spanish Flu = Europe.

The global spread of Covid19 was due to the trade and tourism Europeans embark upon with China. China is an economic superpower.

It's all about globalism.
