No Pete, questions must be asked of the government as to why the NHS has been left in such an ill prepared state.
It is also reasonable to ask what the plan was to manage the Pandemic initially, why this has changed and what the revised plan is for the country (and based on what evidence).
Of course it is.
Did the virus start in China, yes.
Did the Chinese try to conceal it, yes,
Did they lie regarding how contagious it was, yes
Did they lie about the numbers, yes
Did the U.K. get on board quickly enough, no
Has the government followed the scientific advice, yes
Did the U.K. change strategy, yes
Was the U.K. prepared for this pandemic, no
Have the Government, CS, CSA, CMO, NHS and PHE made mistakes, yes
Have the government thrown all the resources they have at this, yes
Have the government looked after Business and Workers, yes
Did Boris set out to murder the population, no
Could the government have handled this better, yes
Would Corbyn and his cronies have managed the situation better, no
Do I have confidence that the government will get us through this, yes.....
