On the plus side we will all be able to do one armed forearm press ups with ease before we head back the gym, at least on one side anyway
Add to that, it spreads the cases out over a larger period of time giving time for the NHS and other services to adapt their services to meet the new demands.
If we didn't have lock down, the NHS (for example) wouldn't be able procure necessary equipment and train relevant staff, without considering it being swamped.
That would mean many more deaths, so there certainly is a long-term effect: more people surviving.

While social distancing, there are doubtless plusses and minuses associated with being single or part of a couple at the moment. At least, with me having a missus, I'm used to going shagless for weeks on end.

It's sickening to see the deep rooted issues in America.
Everywhere else in the world focuses on death rate and age groups in tackling the virus.

To not notice or ignore the disparity in outcomes between people of color and whites would be racism.

What I dont get is how can people be forced to wear face masks mandatory in public once lockdown is over when pubs and restaurants etc open back up?
Whats the point in walking around shops wearing face masks to only then take them off when you go for a bite to eat etc?

But why does the skin colour matter?
To break it down, apart from the pigmentation of the skin, what makes a white American different to a black one?
There's no difference. That's my point. So it doesn't matter what colour of the skin is , Americans are being affected and dying irregardless to their skin colour.
It's absolutely racism in its purest form to distinguish a difference .
