They're not all bad though. I also heard that the two nurses who mopped his brow were treated with free tickets back to bunga bunga land, or wherever they come from. Hearts of gold. Priti Patel even waved her mask as she saw them off on the plane.

What will be the deadly plan next?

I believe Brexit will involve an antiseptic wall built around the British Isles to keep us safe in future. It'll be a bit like the Truman Show, but with images of death and pestilence rather than fluffy clouds.
It will most definitely have a collage of Britain's most famous victories. With a special highlight being Boris, dressed as St George slaying a Coronavirus dragon backed my hordes of Turkish migrants coughing.

My missus cut her own hair this morning and asked me if I wanted mine doing. I was out the back door and mowing the lawn faster than you can say hair clippers. She so knows how to play me. .lol

But seriously, things will take a while to get back to normal. Things like nails and hair, my missus get's them done every month. People will go again but many won't because of social distancing. And you can't take back the 2/3 months missed due to the lockdown. Other things like bars/restaurants and cafes will be on reduced sittings due to social distancing. Many people will be frightened to go abroad on holiday. I'm half expecting it to be chaotic down here in Cornwall if we're allowing UK travel by then. But airlines will continue to take a big hit IMO as will packaged holidays.

Yeah there are some things that we're holding off on buying now that we'll get later in the year. But for a lot of things it will take more time to get back to normal.

I reckon I'm not spending around £400pm just on going out for drinks and meals. The missus must be saving another £200pm on nails, haircuts and petrol etc

don't let her cut your hair pal !

You say it there yourself

Patients between 17 and 101. Isn't that misleading in itself?

If there was 100 cases and one was 17 and the rest was over 80 for example, it's misleading to talk about a 80 plus age gap for the sake of one person. It's not reporting the mass majority of the age group that is being affected, just generalising it to literally say everyone between 17 and 101.

That's where it is misleading. They don't know every case sure, but they do know the rough ages. So instead of reporting it as it is , it's twisted for scare factor. I mean how many 17 year olds have died with the virus? That's the difference in how the information is presented, which creates fear, is having a massive negative effect on mental health. This is just for an example but if 10000 have died and 9000 of them were over 75, shouldn't that be reported that way?

But I'm not talking about the official news post that goes out each day. I'm talking about the handful of articles produced each day with little to no information provided in the article because they have pulled it from Facebook. So really it's just headlines filled with the same information to justify having said article. That's what gets shared about, that's what is misleading people, scaring people.

There isn't a sensible reporting model being followed. Even the dagleish story , yes the article may have said that for.the most part but not all of them did. In fact I read one that said he was in hospital for the virus. Did that have to be a headline story though? Given he had no symptoms at all? What was the purpose of that story?

Also side point , what happened to the 13 year old that died? No mention anymore, despite them raising over 60 grand for the family? Was that story wrong? No mention on sky news there.

I think the take away here is stop reading facebook mate.

But I do agree with the fact that people have just become ages and death stats.

Just seen that over 500 of the deaths in England reported today were from 1-11 April.

I know it doesn't mean deaths are lower/higher or anything, just that it gives an idea of how they're doing it.

Only 100-odd actually from today. So we may not actually know the deaths for this weekend until later this week at the earliest.

Has the vidiprinter released today's scores yet? Has us down for a score draw with Germany.

Italy's health minister has suggested no bars/restaurants and gatherings etc will not be opened until a vaccine is found.

The Italian government has not offered businesses any support apart from repayable loans.

It was already pretty down economically anyway. That country is knackered. Their approach will cost them more lives than the virus has.

Read something before that stated Sweden have been doing "ok" by not following the method of lockdown.

Is this true or fake news?
