Anyone fed up with their neighbours yet? Mines a builder and he's never stopped making noise - be it jet washing to hammering things to drilling I mean have a day off ffs.

Only good thing has been his trophy wife occasionally sunbathes in the garden topless so I get to have a little peekarooney when doing the polishing upstairs.
My neighbours are doing my head in because they they keep having visitors.

As was posted earlier, Ireland has extended restrictions to 5th May (after May Bank Holiday) and State Examinations are put back to "late July or early August" from mid June.

I don't think the restrictions will be lifted for a few months yet tbh.

No matter what the story is, they have to mention the Germans.

980 have been reported to have died, the figure that died yesterday was actually far lower. But might change next week. There’s even rumblings that in terms of deaths we might have already gone past the peak.

That would be a positive, then.

There does appear to be a flattening in some places. We just have to hope it sustains over the next 7-10 days and then hopefully we'll start to see some green shoots.

Really surprised to see the schools here staying open over Easter Bank holidays so that kids of key workers can still go in.

Fair play to those teachers.

I'm sure a certain poster still thinks they are all sunbathing though.

That right? Never crossed my mind they would be open, but fair play if it removes some pressure from key workers.

That doesn't really make sense regarding cases to deaths mate. Say testing was ramped up tomorrow then more cases that aren't requiring hospitalisation or aren't resulting in death is a good thing no?

Most the confirmed cases we have now are from testing or from people who have required hospitalisation or confirmed to have the virus upon death. So mass testing would see those percentages fall no? As the percentages we have now are against only confirmed cases.
Testing has absolutely no effect on how many people end up in hospital or dead.

If we didn’t test at all, the number of people in the hospital or dying would not change.

Some good news for anyone that's interested. It's assumed that the UK is around 2 or 3 weeks behind France which would suggest we're coming out of the worst of it soon all being well

That's my point

My gobshite neighbours wife looks like a Pikey at the circus who reads palms or something.
All ear rings and gash tattoos.
Been sunbathing in the garden all day whilst the bellend is sawing wood on a Black and Decker bench and then laying flags / paving stones..
*edit.

Women are boss snides.
The Mrs has said nowt all day, just listened to me grumble about them.
Not a word.
She's just put her old trainers on, still said nothing and gone to the shed and she's now mowing the grass and using the dead noisy strimmer as she knows next door have just sat outside to eat their tea.

Super stuff.

So, who is right. Sweden believe they are right the way they have dealt with the virus, Trump believes they are wrong....one of them must be right......
