Yep

"NHS England has announced 866 new deaths of people who tested positive for Covid-19, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 8,114.

Of the 866 new deaths announced today, 117 occurred on 9 April while 720 took place between 1 April and 8 April.

The remaining 29 deaths occurred in March, including one on March 5."

WTF are they doing?

*Warning this is a really upsetting video.

This is just horrific, this is in New York one of the homes of global finance, one of wealthiest city's in the world, in one of the worlds wealthiest countries. This virus doesnt care it just wants to give humanity a pounding. R.I.P. Must be so traumatising for families.

Very eerie, like that scene in Chernobyl where the poor firefighters get buried in a mass cement grave

If the way they're collating the numbers is the same as yesterday - half of them will be from last week
Not counting care homes is a joke as well btw.
I got to speak to step mum last night and she said 'they've all got it'.
4 on her companys rounds have already died and 9 in hospital she said.
If this is replicated across the UK, a lot of deaths are being kept off these figures in my opinion.

In most countries nursing homes have been the highest hit groups for RIP's in countries.

I wonder why this question isnt asked at press daily briefings. It is simply put, the RIP figures are the ones released by daily by the NHS and are hospital based figures, it doesn't account for community or nursing home R.I.P's. Is the RIP's nationally actually bigger then the figures released daily y the NHS. It seems it is.

I can understand in a way the government trying to dampen down panic, with hoarding and people leaving areas etc, but on the opposite hand there is growing talk of people wanting to lift restrictions and taking chances with ignoring social distancing etc, when this thing is just starting to surge.

Read Brendan's post above. Makes sense to me.

All newspapers and TV news channels need to be more responsible in their reporting of this virus IMO

It’s okay @Joey66 is on his way down with his water cannon.
