I heard last week that a lab used for testing new born calves was being taken over and it had the capacity to do 1.25 million tests a year.
it was going to be doing double shifts .
Any idea if this come on stream yet ??

No idea mate, hadn't head that myself or anything on it. It does strike me as odd that we are one of the biggest pharma producing and scientific research innovating countries in the the world and dont have a pathway for processing tests in place, or we haven't used those private pharma and scientific facilitates.

I never had longer than a number 1 for about 20 years but have been 10 years with hair , I’m planning to recapture my youth , or younger years at least this week , having found the old faithfuls in a dusty cupboard. I’m not overly keen but needs must .
I think I'll probably last until next weekend and the temptation for a one or two grows too big and it all comes off.

This lockdown lark has revealed that my girlfriend is busy all the time. Like annoyingly so. I am quite happy to do some exercise here and there, keep the house ticking over, play guitar, play champo and sit off.

She's rearranging things, wanting to do DIY, plan all sorts of stuff, relag pipes etc etc. She's just never relaxing at all. And consequently I am being constantly "requested" to do stuff. And I hate doing stuff.
My missus moved the bed last week
I went in ,left the light off so not to disturb her and fell on the floor lol

Not true in my case but actually happened to my dad years ago after he came back late from captains day out with the golf society lol

Exactly the same here mate. It's so annoying! She did a big hand written list of stuff to and I was made up when we finished it thinking we'd be able to relax... But no, out comes another list!

Good stuff mate. Hopefully with the reagents delivery and better infrastructure we can nail this yoke. Going on testing and contract tracing is going to be critical in attacking this and shutting down clusters as we move from opening to lock down phases, in my opinion.

I went out with the lads one night many years ago , when I got home worse for wear I went up to bed and flopped face down where I remembered the bed to be, as above, my Mrs has rearranged the bedroom when I was out as she was bored... I just splatted onto the floor and slept where I landed.

You need to get this stopped right now or your life will be a misery....

'Multiple Facebook posts (here here) suggest UK Members of Parliament (MPs) awarded themselves an extra £10,000 in expenses in order to work from home during the coronavirus crisis.'

'This claim is false.'

'The posts were shared as an image on Facebook. Text is overlaid on a photo of Health Secretary Matt Hancock and reads: “NHS workers risking their lives refused any pay rise. MPs awarding themselves £10,000 extra expenses to ‘work from home’.” The reference to NHS pay likely relates to a 2017 amendment to the Queen’s speech proposing an end to a public sector pay cap. It was voted down in the House of Commons'

I've been wondering what Corbyn had been up too in his spare time.

He’s been concocting Machiavellian stories about Boris with @davek
