He was deffo still going in the 90s.

I used to drive the H5 ( Warrington to Liverpool. Think it's the 7 now ) and if you were on the early shift he would get on around Bowring Park and get off at Plesseys. The whole bus would smell of shoe polish!

I remember that he was always incredibly polite.

I always used to see him in the Rose on the High Street too.

Not seen him in years. Wonder what happened to him? Reckon he would be in his late 80s now.

From what I gather, he died a while ago mate.

I understand your fears mate but what ever happens to any of us over this it can't be a blame game.
Eventually we have to get back to normal as much as we can, we will all get it in one form or another who or where we got it is irrelevant.
Agree with this. The media have people turning against their neighbours and living in perpetual fear, pretend your infected and everyone else, shame your neighbours for going out for a few non essentials in the shop or an extra 15 min run, asking for their neighbours to be locked up etc, in the US they have even set up hotlines for their people to tattle on their neighbours. Its being made out as if we're to blame for this virus and the reason it keeps spreading. There's a media agenda riding on the back of this virus and people are buying it unfortunately. I've said it before and will say it again, when this is all over the media's social media posts, articles and broadcasts should be scrutinised, fact checked and held to account.

People need to switch the media off, they feed on fear, ignore them, be careful, stop living in fear and help your neighbours/ family and friends where possible, safely ofc and we'll all come out the other end of this better and stronger.

There was a fella the other day on here who said he had watched his neighbour leave the house 4 times in 1 day.

I mean I know we are all pretty bored but thats taking things a bit far.

Context is everything mate. I could leave the house 4 times and not be in the wrong

1. To get essentials in the shop for myself
2. To exercise and walk my dog
3. To help an elderly family member afraid to leave home
4. To go to the shop for my elderly neighbour whos electric has just ran out and has no family to help

It's what you dont do on those errands that matters. Dont infringe the distance code in it's fine.
