Been on Welsh heart radio news bulletins, to get round any stops by police, leisure home owners are reregistering car ownership and insurance to leisure address, and having suitcases courierd to leisure address...

Hopefully the NHS in Wales will have the balls to say to those idiots that, if they do get it, they will be last in line for a ventilator.

Absolute disgrace. Second house allowance, huge daily expenses, blind eyes turned when they fiddle the books, etc. No wonder everybody hates politicians.

Considering how people are needing to be shooed away from parks and stuff STILL I really don't think it's ingrained. Give someone an inch and all that.

Well it's only in the big cities that parks are full mate. People aren't all lucky enough to have gardens or live on the doorstep of places like you and I where we can go out and about in big open fields or hills or what not.

I know you know that and obviously you're right when it comes to the idiots going sunbathing, and even round me up until today (when they blocked the road off completely) there had been cars parking at this lake which is pretty out of the way but people go to walk around there. It mainly seemed to be families doing it the last few days but today there were no cars there.

But others who are going into the park simply as it's one of their only options for a bit of greenery etc - they aren't really doing anything wrong. And it can't be helped that in these heavily populated areas, that's all there is.

Seen people (including that twonk Jake Humphries) say it's suddenly so shocking how many people want to exercise or get out and whatever, and that there's a rise in numbers.

That's such ignorance. For one, tons of people who normally use gyms are now having to go out to do their cardio or whatever (for obvious reasons). Two, there are more people working from home so they have that extra 1-2 hours or more a day that they now aren't commuting to be able to get their exercise in. Three, the weather being good means people are naturally going to get out more than if it was hammering it down (I mean for their exercise, not to sunbathe).

Hope you and your loved ones are all keeping well over there. No doubt the warmer weather and daylight saving kicking in now will at least bring a bit more positivity to the mood.

Daylight saving ended for us last weekend, bit annoying to not be able to go for a post-dinner walk now while there's still light.

Thanks mate, same goes to you!

Yes the weather has, ironically, been wonderful in recent weeks. It's laughing at us. There's a lot of worry as it's going to be warm here over the next few days so there's probably going to be a fair few morons who think going to the beach counts as social distancing.

And yep it's actually a year ago to the day since my last day in NZ. Loved it so much. Had travelled around for two weeks before that so definitely noticed the sharp drop off in temp/day-to-night, too. Seemed to happen in about two weeks that it went from 20+ to 9/10.

Got to be the same fella, no way there could’ve been two of them !
He was deffo still going in the 90s.

I used to drive the H5 ( Warrington to Liverpool. Think it's the 7 now ) and if you were on the early shift he would get on around Bowring Park and get off at Plesseys. The whole bus would smell of shoe polish!

I remember that he was always incredibly polite.

I always used to see him in the Rose on the High Street too.

Not seen him in years. Wonder what happened to him? Reckon he would be in his late 80s now.
