Italian government is notoriously crap isn't it? As mentioned earlier, they also had a crazy high flu count this winter, so maybe something about the place that helps flu like viruses spread.

Let's hope that works. With cases going up by thousands per day they had to do something. Hopefully the lessons learnt can help other countries.

Yep, Italy is one of the countries worst placed to deal with something like this; Terribly inefficient government, poor healthcare, very old population, a slightly odd attraction to kissing anyone and everyone when greeting them...

Look at how communicable it is, look at the percentages requiring ICU treatment, mortality rates etc.

I will admit that I am a bit confused now.

As some will recall, Mrs R has been in the care of medical people recently who made her better. So I/we follow their advice to the letter, ish.

So when the CMO and the top scientist bloke say that sporting events pose no real issues re this thing spreading, my natural instinct is to think, "Ok mate, sound."

But. Sommet doesnt quite add up.

They are afraid the money figures wont add up.
