Leisure and sportif cycling also banned here in France. You can use le vélo to go to the shops, for essential supplies only.

Are the police not using checkpoints? Loads of them in Ireland and on the spot fines.

There have been some instances at particular day tripping areas of police checks at weekends but not a chance of stopping people traveling to those second third homes etc. Did actually wonder why the Scottish medical officer was singled out for condemnation, it's obvious it's happening, everyday.
I'm having to spend some time at various food shops and travel a fair distance in the county to various persons on official SS business. The traffic and queing today is tenfold from last Wednesday, considering it had just been payday... Lock down has ended.

One of the more stupid things I've heard is that they want to ban people going outdoors to exercise during certain times. So basically create a pinch point where everyone goes out at the same time, that'll help social distancing.
