Well, that's a point proven, thanks! Always better with some context lol

Back to your bedroom to play with your toys, for you.

You are boring in the extreme, and you don't even realise it.

And you got Bruce's quote COMPLETELY out of context and wrong. Sums you up, really.

Stay at home
  • Only go outside for food, health reasons or work (but only if you cannot work from home)
  • If you go out, stay 2 metres (6ft) away from other people at all times
  • Wash your hands as soon as you get home
Now saying no exercise, but still no ban on non essential work, still no ban on flights, ferries and trains coming into the country, and leaving and still not testing at airports, ferry terminals or Eurostar. Johnson, Hancock, Raab, Dorries, Whitty all didn't follow the rules.

I consider exercise a health reason. They've got to strike a healthy balance.

Exercise is classified as a health reason - the guidelines haven't changed

I honestly cant take any encouraging news from this sort of thing mate as soon as they end lockdown that 3% increase will shoot back up.

Unless a vaccine is found we literally have no other option but to ride it out all this is doing is temporarily reducing numbers.

There is a vaccine, several actually. They are being tested. Phase 2 trials are looking to start next month.
Still a long way out for mass vaccination, but not like we're at a stand still.

Good. I thought it said yesterday exercise was one of the reasons to go out.

Edit. It' sjust that the latest from Whitty on TV, didn't say exercise as he's done before.

Not the only reason to stall either. While a vaccine may be a year or so off, delaying massive spread of this allows science to catch up and analyse effective treatment for the pneumonia that is fatal.

If a drug is found that lessens the mortality rate of COVID-19, then that will be as important a step as a vaccine, and that could realistically be found inside six months.

There’s never been a vaccine successfully developed for any coronavirus, including SARS which they’ve been trying to crack for 17 years.

The antibody test is vital, but will only be a massive boost if the numbers found to be positive are huge.

There are some. Funding dried up when SARS didn't cause enough problems/kill enough people and/or become an annual epidemic
