Just been told I'm on furlough from Monday.
FFS. Best get on to the bloody mortgage company then.
Not great news mate but you're also guaranteed a fairly decent income for up to 3 months so it's not all bad?

Can't argue with that. Except the redundancy bit as I think I'll be due about 30k if that happens. I don't particularly want to go but that would soften the blow and better than going down to 80%.
Sadly not how the NHS works , they will keep us there regardless. The management above my head won't allow the staff to go home at any point even if the entire network went down so they couldn't work. How come they won't be? I thought it would be in the best interests of most companies to temporarily lay off most of their staff and just let the gov foot the bill?
Like I'm personally expecting to be furloughed this/next week as I'm a project planner and all the projects are on pause indefinitely.
It’s much better than being told you are being sacked, released, made redundant, etc ......
Aye it's not the end of the world but it's gonna kill me financially if I can't get a mortgage break. Not great news mate but you're also guaranteed a fairly decent income for up to 3 months so it's not all bad?
Why constantly put faith and trust in ANY politicians? None of them have any profound wisdom or exceptional knowledge. They just joined a gang that they claim to have loose philosophical connections too.Is anybody going to answer the question? Why is a coalition government such a bad idea to deal with this crisis.

Did she hide in a 'fridge? Not a couple of times, she was even told during the election not to do interviews.

Well, I'll find out on Monday. I'll let you know lolI'm sure I read somewhere that part of the guidelines the government has put out there is that mortgage lenders have to give you a break.

Just think back to brexit they were like a bunch of infants fighting with each wouldn't trust any of them to organize a piss up in a pub .They've acted mate and on both sides of the pond their response has been disastrous. Is it absurd to suggest that maybe cross party or bi-partisanship coordination might be the answer here?
