We believed the gammon would come to their senses back in December and vote in favour of their best interests instead of for a political party which despises them.

Ten years of austerity which caused thousands upon thousands of unnecessary dearhs were completely discounted by people in Wigan and in Leigh.

Decimated mining communion the North East and Yorkshire voted for Thatcher’s cloned offspring.

The Tories were returned with a landslide majority despite all this.

Add to that it would take a swing of unparalleled levels in modern times to overthrow the buggers in ‘24 and you see the mountain we have to climb.

And sadly Sir Keir Starmer doesn’t strike me as a latter day Sir Edmund Hillary.

Mate, the gammons are being killed and threatened with death; they're beaten back into their own homes and having their ale taken off them. This is not the politics of Brexit we're talking about. There is no comparison.

You also forget that the Establishment have their second IX they can turn to now. Starmer is one of their own. They can do business with him.
