All I need to say is we have a brand new hospital here built under Labour and it's the first time ever this town has not had a 24hr NHS service, town of 45k and come 8pm you are dead if you have a serious illness basically, can you wait 30mins to get treatment for a heart attack or stroke?, that is the reality and that has happened up and down the land under the last 10 years of Tory rule.

You could have had that brand new hospital for a lot less money though. The problem is not that Labour built new hospitals, its how they were funded. This is a very old Guardian article now, but its still accurate:

For example, while the capital cost of rebuilding Calderdale Royal Hospital in Yorkshire is £64.6m, the scheme will end up costing Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust a total of £773.2m. Similarly, the cost of building the new Walsgrave district general hospital in Coventry will jump from an initial £379m to an eventual £4bn.

PFI was, and is, a disgrace in the way it was brought about and implemented. Personally I find it maddening a Labour Party did that but I think it's probably more difficult to compare this Labour Party to that Labour Party than for the equivalent of any other parties with a similar distance of time.

All evidence points to the contrary. Just because he's part of the elite you're jealous of doesn't mean he's got some inane ability to lead

The ability to lead consists of many aspects. Different elements work for different people depending on audience, personality, the task in hand, the belief of the people. Can you even imagine that Corbyn would have had the confidence of the majority of U.K. people to lead them through this ? I would not even follow Corbyn to the pub bar. Boris has done everything required of him, didn’t act stupid, followed to the letter the scientific advice, fronted up the actions and the daily count, succumbed to the disease but still led from the front nearly to the detriment of his own life, and will no doubt lead again and raise people’s spirits when he has recovered. The left hate him because he does what no one on their side has the ability to do, bring people with him......

Anybody who freely admits that they would not shake hands with people who have the coronavirus. Somebody who is not scared of debating their policies and record with Andrew Neill. Somebody who would release the 'Russian Report' as I'm sure there's nothing to see there. Somebody who does not wish the population to take the virus on the chin and allow it to sweep through the community.

So as I expected, you can’t name anyone....NAME.....

Haha, I pictured the star spangled banner, definitely fake news Pete ! Your not only trying to turn him into a martyr, but now into a great statesman, laughing that hard, think I'll actually be crying in a minute. Trump lite.

Your hatred merely provides a fog for your vision.....
