half of them are part Italian anyway aren't they ?After last night's match, my Argentinian wife asked me who England played in the final. When I told her she proudly announced she would be supporting Italy. I said it was only fair as I would be Supporting Brazil.
I actually hope Argentina beat them but I'm not telling her that.
Yeah thanks for the sentiment. I think somehow for many reasons England will somehow get over the line and lift the Cup.Martinez was very disrespectful and belittling at times. I don’t get such behavior and lack of sportsmanship by some footballers. He should have gotten a card but the referees were unfair towards Colombia throughout the whole tournament so it is not surprising.
Im glad England didn’t suffer the same fate that Colombia did and hopefully they will win be the Euro champions!
I have the same feeling and look forward to watching an exciting match on Sunday.Yeah thanks for the sentiment. I think somehow for many reasons England will somehow get over the line and lift the Cup.
Thinking back to that shoot out with Martinez, and his motor mouth out psyching your boys. If I was at a card game with the lads that missed the pens my poker face would have them folding in no time lol
Sorry Sassy but you are a good sport and I wish Colombia all the best in the World Cup coming up.
Defo. There's a joke in Spain ''What do you call an Italian who speaks Spanish?'' - ''An Argentinian.''half of them are part Italian anyway aren't they ?
Or part German.half of them are part Italian anyway aren't they ?
I think they try to ignore that part of their historyOr part German.
Up and down in the group phase, but I kind of expected that given 4 of 5 in each group advanced to the knockouts. Thought the semi finals were good, and fully expect the Brazil-Argentina final to be a cracker even without fans.I haven't caught 1 second of this meh tournament.
Whats the standard been like, bet it's been depressing to watch without fans.

I think i'll watch that final, have a feeling Messi isgoing to have a stormer of a game.Up and down in the group phase, but I kind of expected that given 4 of 5 in each group advanced to the knockouts. I hope you’re right. It will be interesting. Argentina scored early against Colombia and then sat back until Colombia equalized. I think against Brazil they’ll try and stay on the front foot as much as they can.I think i'll watch that final, have a feeling Messi isgoing to have a stormer of a game.
I can only be useful if Conmebol refs do their job, unfotunately they don't not matter the rulesEDIT: just quickly looked it up and it seems there is a rule about "verbal distraction" during play or at a restart, so that perhaps could be used to stop trash-talking.
