I am 99% certain this is a load of crap because it comes from the Daily Mail, but there's an interesting line buried away in this article about Wenger's future being in doubt, and them being linked with Moyes:

Wonder what the source is for this so-called 'irritation' news? The journo's ****-stirring mind, perhaps?

hahahahaha - ambitious manager seeks funds from penniless owner so decides to have a look around.

Understand the league position Wigan are in may raise a few doubts, take in to account the net spend for Martinez and trying to persuade players to join Wigan. Main obsevation was about the style of football played with players of so called lesser talent than the squad we have.

IMHO , I don,t want him anywhere near our club, I think his post match interviews of trying to explain away his team sitting in the bottom 3 every week is a weak as p***. He got called out by the chairman one week who thought his explanation of his teams defeat were complete BS.

He.d be perfect for Bill...the biggest YES man on the planet. For me, If we sign him up will be the start of the descent amd much worse a return to the days of hovering in and out of the drop zone in time.

For me Moyes decision to hold off on his contract until the summer takes the p*ss. No man is bigger than the club. I'd happily support the club in sacking him on the spot now. If he at least signed the contract we'd get compensation for him later. The failure to sign someone in the January window was down to Moyes.

I was indifferent in his first 9 years at the club. Jan 2012 and the football in the last 12 months has been brilliant at times. But this contract move is one straw to many. Has anyone actually got to an understanding of why he's taking this stance? Other than being a money-grabbing tw*t? "I'll wait and see how the results go etc"....

Really ? And watch our season go straight down the swanny ? Behave.

r you for fooken real megson , hes got kenwright by the bollloocks he can do what ever he wants ,hes got kenwright wrapped around his little finger, ffs lad i thought you were bright

oh he does alright foxy but the old man still won,t do whats best for the club and sell up.

If that's how it is wouldn't he have already gotten Bill's best offer then ? If all he cares about his money then he's losing out on quite a bit not signing a new contract now. An extra 10k a week if the rumours are right.

royston ffs no moyes no kenwright you know this , if moyes goes who can kenwright hide behind , no fooker , moyes knows this only to well

Moyes is off if we don't get the CL, same as Fellaini, simple as that. 'I want to see how the team does' is testament to that. So therefore why should he sign a contract ?

This was always going to happen at some point, it was only a matter of when. The board can't/won't provide the funds for him to take us to the next level. Just hope they are lining up possible replacements now.
