Christ man how many times have I gotta tell ya before it sinks in, Moyes personnel dealings within his 10 yr spell are ordinary not exceptional if you go and peruse the transactions - I have!

That's the top and bottom of it - if I said your house is a shthole without seeing it and you lived in a palace you'd rightly say "what you talkin' about?" that's what i'm saying to you and the other tap dancers. If you don't know - how can you comment.

Why do you seem to think you're the only one capable of looking at an Everton transfer history ? You're not. Other people understand the transfers just as well as you do, they just disagree with you.

'Peruse the transactions' lol. You mean go and search 'Everton transfer history' in Google. Genius you are man

Can see you're not getting a fig roll - uneducated heathen:lol:

Chelsea have no plans to name former boss Jose Mourinho, 50, as replacement for interim manager Rafael Benitez, and have instead targeted Juventus's Antonio Conte, 43

It's back on..

Chelsea could also move for Everton manager David Moyes, 49, if he does not extend his current deal that expires in the summer

Saturdays paper talk..

Ignore him. There is no reasoning.

It's the best way of judging the level of financial backing a manager has had. But even just normal spends, Moyes is miles behind other clubs who do way worse in the league.

I know mate, I just don't like the phrase.
It hides the fact he has spent some big money as well as unearthing a few gems..

I guess i just don't get it. How somebody can say Moyes' transfers are 'ordinary' given his time in charge, i just don't get it. Not a single club around us in the table has spent less than Moyes, most have them have spent markedly more. There are also a few clubs in the bottom half who have spent way more too. It's the opposite of ordinary.

Problem is you're looking at the headlines not the whole picture. No-one has come near to the time Moyes has had (well Wenger has spent less but his initial record was so stratospheric no one would compare) and secondly you really mustn't have read ALL the transactions in Moyes era - it's frightening.

I've gone down the usual route of we buy 'em they get snapped up by the monied mob as real proof of value. On that independent basis there's the 3 mentioned plus perhaps another 2 maybe 3.

The numbers flying under the radar at Goodison are feckin' huge.

The numbers that matter are the amounts spent since Moyes took over compared to other clubs. Which is smaller in almost every case.

Do you think it's unimpressive that we've maintained top 8 in the richest league in the world with £1.5m per year net spend ?
