So let me get this right because your logic is interesting:

I'm suggesting Moyes transfer record is about what you'd expect anyone to achieve given the circs ie ordinaryish yeh?

So by your reckoning it would be extraordinary for someone to buy a decent player in their first season - say like Michu?

is that what you're saying?

You mention Michu again. I still reckon Baines was a better buy.. And Arteta, Lescott and half a dozen others.

No. That's not what i'm saying.

You also said he hasn't uncovered a Michu. Michu has played two thirds of a season and you're making a judgement on him already. Tim Cahill cost £1.5m and went on to be a crucial part of our team for the best part of a decade. He bought Nigel Martyn for a small fee who was an utterly boss keeper for us.

You've clearly got some misguided grudge with Moyes, as evidenced by you calling him a c**t, and accusing him of stringing the club along (by seeing out his contract ?), amongst other things.

Why don't you make an actual point instead of talking pure s***e ?

Or are you saying that because Moyes has signed bad players as well as good that his transfer record isn't impressive ? Because that's garbage.

He has kept Everton finishing top 8 with a net spend of £18m over ten years.

No you idiot how many times do I have to say it, he's had 10 yrs of pressure free existence which has produced 3 players who've gone on with (lets be generous) felli, Baines who'd make a turn and go on as well. The rest stayed here if they were better than here do you think they'd of stayed.

Oh look, the old pick a flavour of the month ploy to try and make a stupid point.

Moyes has been at Everton a long time. In that time he has consistently found players at real good value that have consistently kept Everton in the top half of the table.

He has also bought in some squad fillers, some dreadful such as Castillo amongst others, but also some good ones such as Mcbride and Donovan.

What is your point?

Who cares about whether they have stayed or left ?

Villa, Newcastle, Stoke have all spent way more money than Everton in the past five years and yet only one of them is regularly finishing top 8. Newcastle just returned from relegation ffs.

If you can't see that keeping a club in the top half of the Premier League, never mind qualifying for Europe a handful of times, on £1.8m net spend per season i don't know what to say. Other than 'lol'.

Why would they be better than here? Here has got better since Moyes arrived because they stayed and improved us to their level, therefore there are only a handful of places that are now better than here are there not?
Saying they are not better than here means they are not a top 3 or 4 player, not that bad, neither is Michu.

Don't whine you started with your unresearched "tripe" comment, if you'd come back with an argument I wouldn't have taken the gloves off - but you didn't.

You still haven't actually backed anything up that you've said.

Your stance seems to be 'Moyes hasn't bought a Michu, his transfer dealings have been nothing out of the ordinary for a manager with 'control'. That's just stupid.

Tony Pulis has had control at Stoke for five seasons since they were promoted and has spent £70m NET in that time. Their highest finish so far is what, 12th ? So it would seem Moyes is out of the ordinary.

Christ man how many times have I gotta tell ya before it sinks in, Moyes personnel dealings within his 10 yr spell are ordinary not exceptional if you go and peruse the transactions - I have!

That's the top and bottom of it - if I said your house is a shthole without seeing it and you lived in a palace you'd rightly say "what you talkin' about?" that's what i'm saying to you and the other tap dancers. If you don't know - how can you comment.
