Between that, the now expected easy win, the loss of Mirallas, Fellaini and Pienaar and the sheer number of people pointing out that Spurs cannot score without Bale, it seems a fairly inevitable defeat for us.
What expected easy win is this?

That and British coaches dont tend to do well in the german league.
Had I not seen that, I might have wept. And it's the Daily Mail.
Hasn't their only been one? As sample sizes go, I'd suggest that was too small.
Just passing on the message...

Call me an idiot if you want but I can't see anything in that link that says british managers have a bad record in the bundesliga.
Either I can't see or they've deleted that.

I dont understand this feller. Here he is a) practically talking down European qualification because of the effect it'd have on next season's campaign in the PL, and b ) leaving himself open to be a hostage of his own words (if he does stay on) regarding needing to strengthen the squad if we get into Europe (the need to strengthen being less, presumably, if we dont). Kenwright must be pissing himself.
The feller's a walking contradiction. Absolutely no thought or consistency goes into his press comments.
For me whether its because he is looking to see what's out there or as some believe he wants money to beef up the squad he is as you say being totally inconsistent .
Which ever of the above camps your in its clear he doesn't want to say and trying to conceal your position unless you are an accomplished liar you come across as he is as inconsistent and maybe even foolish or dishonest . For me it's telling this all started after Wigan when even those close to him told him he'd handled it badly .
Moyes is however in a place of his own making so he's got to live with it .
If Moyes guarantees himself a better contract and stays, he'll accept a threadbare squad again - no question in my mind. It looks like he's preparing the ground for that now. If we dont get EL qualification there's no requirement for strengthening. That's what follows from his words today. There's no way he's being strategic in the run up to his contract conclusion. IMO, Kenwright is in the driving seat. Moyes isn't required elsewhere and he's not adventurous/bold enough to take a chance on a new challenge.
When Moyes re-signs again this summer it'll be more of the same hand to mouth existence we've had for years under the Kenwright/Moyes axis. A totally uninspiring future beckons. Mind you,, it's what a lot of people seem to want and they'll rejoice that we're safe for th foreseeable. Yay!...or something.
