Fellaini's potential sale would help us out alot tbf, he only turns up at big games and when he wants to, clear the debt and reinvest.

Im not as in the "sell Fellaini" camp as most.

I agree with your point to a degree, im not sure if its big games he turns up, but some games it does appear as tho he couldnt give a fck, but I think thats just his style, he has a lazy style, im certainly not calling him lazy, but hes quite a gangly fella and maybe he comes across that way at times.

With regard his "worth" to the team, I think hes a big player for us, whereever we play him and im never a fan of selling our "better" players, even though over the Years we have got some good coin and bought some quality replacements.

So if it was up to me, I would keep the lid, that will all depend on his desire to stay, but more importantly the size of bids that we are "likely" to recieve.

tl;dr, keep the big fella, hes boss.

I agree, massive player for us and is effective most games but I've just got the impression recently he's not performing to his value the past few games...

Wigan game was the worst I've seen Fellaini in an Everton shirt, poor attitude and poor commitment.

Man City game was an improvement but that was demanded by many as most people we're pissed off with him already.

QPR game was a quiet game from him tbf, not really effective.

Arsenal game he played in his strongest position IMO, even though he gets you goals up top, he does more for the team playing in that deeper role.

But when it comes to selling him, if someone offered £20m + I'd snap their hand off.

I wouldnt sell Felliani had he not come out with the whole moving to chelsea etc. crap as its a risk keeping him and when it comes to 1-2 years left on his deal and we ask he renews he turns it down meaning we have to sell on the cheap. Its obvious he wants to move to a CL side so cash in now whilst we can ask for £28-30 mil imo

We're not getting £25m for Fellaini, no chance. Mourinho will probably end up at Chelseas so he won't be going there. I'd agree with you that he'll still be here next season.

I think Moyes will stay, none of us knows exactly how much we'll get to spend in the summer. But here's hoping that the new TV deal money will be significant enough and be used for new players.

I'm not one of 'those' who thinks Fellaini will definitely go in the summer, are we likely to see a team like Chelsea (the only one in this league) fork near to £25 million for a player? Possibly? But my bets are that if he did go it would be abroad.

The money from his departure obviously needs to be used on getting a replacement, Fer still is a good shout, and we'll probably go back for him in the summer. The dynamic of our team will maybe change if Fellaini goes, perhaps introduce some more pace, as we already have Coleman, Baines and Mirallas in that equation in an attacking format.

I think Moyes will be backed in the summer in all honesty, there's obviously some money (towards a plan) to get Fer in.
Personally I do hope he stays, we are on the edge of a brilliant team, all we need is a striker and a CM (or box to box midfielder), and if backed his (Moyes's) investment will pay off (flourish) next year.

Alas, this was always the downside of an upturn in results.

People would quickly forget how Moyes screwed up the season with a succession of bad decisions......not dropping Jelavic sooner, not blooding Barkley in "easy" home games before chucking him in the cauldron that were the two North London games, persisting with Neville long after his sell by date, playing Johnny at centre back when he was so badly out of form, etc., etc., etc.

The negative substitutions which cost us so dearly at Fulham and Norwich among other venues.

The constant downplaying of our chances and poor mouthing of the club.

Wigan.

Moyes will stay, of course........wiser heads than me have said all along he will stay because nothing better is on offer.

And I think this inconvenient fact is at last dawning on Moyes hence the more concilliatory tone of his language lately.

But it's all too late to claim the CL place which was absolutely begging to be taken this season.

This much vaunted extra TV money will be going to WHL, Arsenal and Liverpool as well so expect them to strengthen as well as us so competition for the one CL place which will go to one club outside of the current "untouchable three" will be even more fierce.

This was our major chance to break into the elite, gentlemen.

And Moyes has blown it.....big time.

But expect him to sign the new contract anyway, no matter if he is to be given more dough next year or not.

He has the guts of four million reasons for signing it.

C'est la vie.

And if Moyes hadn't bought Darron Gibson or Mirallas we'd feasibly be closer to mid table than 6th place. But hey ho.

Zenit paid £32m for Witsel, who is worse than Fellaini. I don't see why we won't see offers close to or even meeting £25m.
Don't know about Fellaini being better than Witsel as a footballer, in terms of impact on a game I guess you could say Fellaini is the better bet.

Wigan.. yes
Most of the rest of that rant.. no.

Also this is sexist:
"This was our major chance to break into the elite, gentlemen."

Can you explain how, when Moyes is that a**e, gets so much wrong and plays the wrong players with the wrong tactics, always negative, wrong defense etc... we are fighting for a CL spot against some of the richest clubs in world football?

Are all these other world renowned managers actually so much worse than the shockingly awful David Moyes, that even spending hundreds of millions of pounds doesn't drag them away from being in a fight with such a terrible manager? Does that mean that Moyes is in fact good in comparison to these awful managers yet still utterly incompetent, but they are in fact sunday league level?
How we are not all fighting relegation whilst the constantly mentioned Wigan with their super Martinez manager battles Ferguson for the crown I simply don't know.
Must be something you've missed out..

Perhaps only losing 5 games in the league all season is good
Perhaps getting results against United, Arsenal, Spurs, Liverpool and City is good
Perhaps buying the likes of Coleman, Mirallas, Fellaini, Baines, Jagielka with a spend of fk all is actually good
Perhaps the myth of him not playing youth and the myth of him ruining strikers every pre season can be countered by the same man... Anichebe! Who is now good, who wasn't sold when everyone wanted him sold... which is good.
Perhaps the negative sub of bringing on Heittinga against Bolton as they walked through our defenseless midfield, despite the boo's, was good, and not just because he scored the winner
Perhaps... he's better than you think... Perhaps he's actually..well.... good.
Most of his results would say so. Dunno just throwing it out there, he's clearly rubbish by your post, just the fighting for champions league makes me wonder if there is a chance you are perhaps... I dunno... wrong?

Wigan still sucks though.
