CONFIRMED: Moyes Leaving - All Reaction Here

Our situation is absolutely nothing like United's. Our first choice right back from the Irish League who cost less than a week's worth of Fellaini's wages. If you are receiving large fees for good players, it means you have been buying good players. The only reason we have a net spend at all is because Moyes is boss at spotting a player. The fact our net spend is so low under Moyes speaks volumes about the conditions he's been under, as he's excellent at getting players to perform and then make a profit on them.

Or you're selling to city and liverpool. See milner, barry, henderson, downing, sinclair, allen etc.

Net spend is a funny argument because when Moyes has had money he's not spent it terribly well.

He's a much better bargain basement shopper as Cahill, Arteta, Jagielka, Pienaar, Martyn, all attest to.

His past transfers suggest he's better at finding bargains, and that when he's spent money he's not done so well in many cases. So why then is it an absolute given that having a low net spend is a negative thing for Moyes?

Fer and Negredo mate.

Both utterly boss.

Ah, an attack on his transfer policy.

Welcome.

4 £13.5m Fulham England Andy Johnson 7 August 2008
5 £10m Arsenal Spain Mikel Arteta 31 August 2011

I removed Rooney, cos, you know.

How am I attacking his transfer policy? Simply saying he spends incredibly well when he's bargain basement shopping, whilst alot of his big name signings haven't had the same levels of success as his 'smaller' signings have.

Do you disagree with that?

"It’s irrelevant where Everton finish in terms of whether David Moyes stays. The manager would love to finish in fourth place because that would get them into the Champions League.

"But the decision is more off the pitch rather than on the pitch. It will be about his budget. He’ll want assurances about what players get sold and the amount of money that he’ll get to spend from those transfers.

"He wants to see the direction that the club is taking before he commits his future to it. It’s a crossroads for the board as well, not just the manager."

Time for Messrs. Kenwright & Co. to 5h!t or get off the pot.

Hold on, why would Moyes want assurances about that? He's told us countless times that HE is the one who makes those decisions. Surely he wasn't telling porkies about that?

You lie down with dogs you pick up fleas, i suppose.

He spent big money well once my argument is completely wrong?

I'll just ignore Bilyaletdinov, Johnson, Beattie, and Yakubu too fella.

I've never got this example. He is easily the best slotter we've had at the club under Moyes. 21 goals in a season with (I think) just one penalty and he was a late signing. Continued to slot for fun into his second season and then got injured. Took ages to recover as it was a terrible injury and in the end the relationship went a bit sour and he left. He was top value for money at £11.25m based on his ability.

Yes, I very much do.

His 2 big money signings, when I say big money I mean 10m+ plus, something he has only done twice, were both amazing successes.

Yakubu scored goals for fun, then got a career ending injury, stopped trying, sulked for a wage increase, hes done it all through his career.

And I dont need to defend Fellaini.
