CONFIRMED: Moyes Leaving - All Reaction Here

Whilst Kenwright remains as chairman I'm never going to advocate getting rid of Moyes, for the simple fact I can't see any manager who comes in faring any better.

I know it's difficult for fans because we're 18 years without a trophy and today was humiliating for everyone connected with the club, but we've got to put it in context. We're a good side, not a fantastic side so days like this are always liable to happen. If we change the manager are we suddenly going to be a shoe-in for a champions league spot and cup win? I don't think so.

Just to stop you there.

One game from Wembley. Wigan Athletic. 3-0.

No time to play "the resource card"

up untill today that was my position but sadly they both have to go - too much damage done today and over the last 13 years.

No as much as I respect you sometimes you're deliberately trying to ignore the facts here.

There was A budget in January. Whatever it was entailed a combination of cash now and future downpayments.

Moyes knew that inside out. Fer was apparently his first target. Once that bombed it was down to Moyes to have a Plan B.

You really are an idiot. Moyes himself said that he had no idea why the transfer moves were made so late in the window, and that was the problem.

This is as funny as your assertion that Oviedo and Naismith would get in the Spurs squad. You are utterly clueless mate.

Carded there mate.

Curb the enthusiasm eh...

There's no excuses for the way that went today. It was terrible from Moyes, tactically outclassed by Martinez.

I just have my doubts about us going onto the next level when he leaves. If I thought we could improve I'd be the first to say his time up.

THIS! THIS! THIS! - Anyone that says otherwise is delusional. He is basically saying to the team I'm not committed. No one is going to be arsed if the manager isn't

Sorry, but that's a load of rubbish.

We were one game away from Wembley, that should have been ample motivation for every single player on the pitch today. We did the business against Reading the week before in a much less important game. Moyes' contract issue certainly doesn't help and picking Neville was a disaster, but not a single outfield player had a noteworthy performance today.

I actually think you could argue Mucha was our best player. Funny eh.

Or Heitinga.

Moyes probably told them before the game it's his last chance at Everton and he's off.

Mucha and Heitinga were buzzing.

I know for a fact that Moyes controls all football matters at the club. I know there was a budget. If Moyes told the board he wanted player X then that's the move that would have been made.
